Happy Mothers Day

This is a picture of my Mom and me. I don't know how old I was. Maybe four or five months?  This is the only picture I have with me of me and my Mom. Most of my pictures (I brought pictures of my kids) are in storage..  Isn't my Mom beautiful? :)

Red roses my husband got me for Mother's Day.  :)

This isn't a very good picture of the front of the card Eon made me. I woke up and saw it on the table this morning. :)

The inside. Lol..  Nooo, we aren't obsessed with food in this family.. :P

This is the card Eli made me, in Spanish class. Lol  I told him, "I'm going to need Google Translate to read it. But thank you, Eli."  (It just says "Happy Mother's Day")

"Your child, Eli"  I think handmade cards are the best.

Did I tell you we are obsessed with food?...  ;)  My husband made me Mother's Day Breakfast.  :)

This is an angel I crocheted for a lady at work (the boss that I like/get along with). Her mother has Stage Four Colon Cancer. :(  She's 89 years old, and isn't doing too well. She's at home now.  I thought I would crochet her an angel.

And, three Pokeballs I have made for Eon so far. Premierball, Masterball, and Pokeball. He said "That should be good for now."  Sheesh. Lol  Glad I'm off the hook for a while.. ;)   I got some yarn today to (maybe) start a Lugia for him.  I might wait til school is done and I can finally relax...  I think that's part of the reason why I haven't been in the mood to crochet. I've been so stressed out over the situation with my boss..

Happy Mother's Day everyone! I hope you got to spend time doing something you love, and with the family you love.  :)

I Quit My Job

I have posted about my job (my boss, in particular)..   Well after the Skyward incident, she has been on me every day this week. NIT picking about every stupid little thing. I don't know WHAT her f**ng deal is.  Wednesday morning I came in and she asks me to come out to the cafeteria. I can tell she already has an attitude (and I do not want to be in the same room with her, let alone talking to her)...  She starts training me to do plasticware (?? I will explain later). I have no idea why she's training me for all these jobs I am pretty sure I do not do..  She shows me where the spoons and forks go.. how to open the napkin holders. I think she is done talking to me so I start walking away, to go get the spoons and forks (and napkins). She says "Do you want to wait until I am done talking?"  ???  (It's like she stops talking to start something with you on purpose?)  I thought she was done talking.  Then she asks if I am okay (she is the one with the attitude, not me!!).   Finishes telling me what all I have to do. Then I ask her "Is this a new job?"  So she says "Come here." We go into her office. She calls Vicky to "witness" everything...  She's sitting at her desk writing and it dawns on me that she is writing me up.   I asked "Are you writing me up? (She shakes her head yes.) For asking you a question?"  I cannot believe this woman!! She wanted me to sign the paper. I said "I'm not signing that." She said "You'll sign it if you want to stay here." I said "I'm not coming back next year. I am sick of the way you treat me."     Immediately after work, I went up to the office and had a meeting with the Vice-Principal (I had called HR, or the Board of Education... not sure exactly which department it was; just the previous day and asked how to file a complaint against someone and they told me to contact the vice principal).  I told her the basics, and sent her an email with specific incidents that had occured, and my "official" complaints.  (It was a long email.)  Yesterday I noticed the Principal came into my bosses office. (My heart was POUNDING... I was like, "Oh great. Here we go...") But he wasn't in there very long and then he left. He NEVER comes in the kitchen.  I bet it was something to do with me complaining. (He did not look happy when he left.)    Well... ever since I told my boss I am quitting, she has been Kissing. My. Ass.   I do not get her!! Today was biggest ass kissing day ever.   She asked me if I had any more things I would like to say to her. I told her that I felt screaming at me was unacceptable. She agreed and said it was unacceptable, and she apologized.   She said she would give me a good reference for a future job if anyone called, and that I hadn't missed a day, blah blah blah...    I am wondering if the Principal has spoken with her about my reporting her. I just got an email back from the Vice Principal. She wants me to come back in to the office to fill out the official paperwork.  :0   It was everything I could do to even go to the office and talk to her. Now I have to go back up there? What if there's a "hearing"?   I don't know what to do...   :(   Part of me wants to do it, because I loved my job and I don't feel I should have to quit, because of her. If she had just been a halfway decent person in the first place, I wouldn't have even quit.  But another part of me feels scared to death. I am not one to make waves or create drama. I just don't want to be walked all over. I just wanted a part time job. I loved my job (except for her, she made a fun, otherwise enjoyable job a War Zone). I was just starting to get to know a lot of the students, and they would just come through my line every day. Like we were buddies. I am really bummed I won't be able to see them any more.   Do you think my boss knows I filed a complaint, and is trying to get me to not follow through with it? My husband thinks so.  Sigh... I wish I knew what to do... :(    On top of all of this, now I have to look for a new job, too.  :/

Eon's Math Benchmark Score

Yesterday Eon told me he got the highest score on the Math Benchmark Test.  I was SOOOO happy!! He got 19 out of 20 questions right. And, got the highest score for all of fifth grade! This is huge for him, because he was doing horribly in math. He got a C on his last report card. And a D and an F on Progress Reports.  I told him if he got his grades up (no C's, only B's and A's) on his report card, I would get him a surprise. Well with 0 money right now, this was all I could do. Some candy an two pokemon card packs. But, I tried to make it special for him.. :D

I made Garlic Beef Enchiladas- Eon's Choice- for dinner. :)   And bragged about him to his Dad and brother.

And I crocheted him a Pokeball. (Gasp?!!! I actually crocheted something?!!)   It was fun.  Then I showed him all the crocheted Pokemon characters on Ravelry. Then he started browsing Ravelry, to see what other characters he could find. Lol.  He put a couple in my favorites. (Maybe for his birthday? Some of them are huge..)  He was googling pokeballs and all pokemon things online. I didn't know there were so many different pokeballs, or pokemon characters.  I think it's funny that he likes pokemon now. Seems like it was big when I was in high school.  He was showing his Dad all his pokemon cards. His Dad said "When did you start liking Pokemon?"  "On Monday."  We all started laughing.  (Guess you had to be there...)  :P      One of his friends gave him a Pokemon card, and that was it.
Another funny (not, after a while) thing...  Both the dogs think the Pokeball is theirs... They stand in front of Eon (they know he has it behind his back), and make all kinds of noise..  Lolol
I used this Pokeball pattern.

Books and Dogs

Yesterday I got my April Post Card Swap Pal post card in the mail. It's a postcard made from a picture my swap partner took.  She also sent me a little gift, a Starbucks Gift Card.  After this week (hectic), I so wanted a treat. (Thank you so much, Eileen!! And I love the post card.)
I left the house a little early and went and used my gift card. :D  I had a little "Me Time" in car pool.  I actually finished this book, too.  I almost didn't finish it, when I had first started reading it. Because it just seemed to ramble on and on (and had some political stuff which I could care less about..)...  But I kept reading it in car pool since there was nothing else to do.  After a while I started to get into it.  Funny side note on the author's name: My sister in laws first name is Clare, and my Mother-In-Law's last name is Clark.  :P  (Which is kind of why I got it, too.)  Good thing it is a library book and I didn't waste money on it.  I am reading "Say You're One of Them" by Uwem Akpan, now.  I'm only on page 15, so I haven't formed an opinion yet.

Our oldest son sent me this picture yesterday. Meet "Chomper", this is Duke's younger brother. Same parents, different litter. He has the same Corgi legs like Duke (and he has Corgi ears, too). :P  He is only about five months old, I think? Duke is 11 months. So...

I took this picture the other night. "Buddies".  :D
Warning: Complaining, True Feelings, and Foul Language Ahead.. If you don't want to hear it stop reading now.
I have tried feeling out my co-workers. I have said some things, but none of them will say anything. My husband says I shouldn't talk to anyone, because they'll probably use it against me to try to make themselves look better/get me fired. So maybe some of you have had similar experiences/know what to do.  I have tried being "non-emotional/putting on a "professional persona". (But this week, I finally-almost- lost it..) I haven't worked in six years, I finally get a job again, and I have the Worst. Boss. Ever..   So, here we go:
I volunteered to stay late Mon-Wednesday this week, because three girls called in (wonder why..)  (My check will be nice, since I only get 15 hours a week. But boy was I exhausted and was it not worth it.)  I don't know what to think about my job yet. I like most of my co-workers. I love working with the students. And all my "jobs" are fine..  But I really, really can NOT stand my boss!!   It's like working with a Bi-Polar Alcoholic.  One minute she is screaming at you (for the tiniest thing!!). The next minute, she is laughing and dancing, and your "best friend".  I have been trying to "ignore" her. (Which is kind of hard, because I have to work with her the most- since it's only me, her and one other boss first thing in the morning).  Well the other morning (Thursday morning), first thing when I went in, she asked me if I had done the Skyward thing (which I only had heard about and got the paperwork for, the previous afternoon-on my way out the door- with no instructions as to when it had to be done by, or anything). I said I hadn't. And I started to say that I had only just gotten it (and I had had a long week since I did her a favor three days in a row covering her ass but who cares about that?... Not her...)  She said "No. No excuses. Go right in the office and do it right now." So I am already getting annoyed.. I love getting attacked first thing in the morning.. I go in the office and sit down to read the paper work. She comes over and yanks the first page back. "You can read that at home if you want." (Now I'm getting pissed... Why does she have to act like this?)  So I start trying to do the website. The instructions are confusing, and I can't think because I'm getting pissed off because of the way she treats me...  I tried entering my username and password I use on the register. It wasn't working. She gets irritated "Read the directions. What does it say?"  (I felt like saying "Fuck you bitch!").  Finally get all that done..  Then she immediately starts in on me about inventory (which, I am almost positive, I never will have to do?...It definitely wasn't in the job description.) Meanwhile, the other boss is wrapping all the breakfast food herself.  (This is my job when I first come in, to get the food out to the students..)  (By the way, we were late getting the food out because of this. Even my other boss- who is the sweetest person you could know- was pissed.)  THEN, she starts in on me about production sheets and shows me on the computer? WTF?? I am on the verge now...  She is such a micro-managing, nit-picking bitch.  I have been working late every day (learning every one else's jobs- which by the way, I have just been pushed into with no instructions, no help!! I had to ask my co-workers and some of them helped me).  I don't know what her deal was Thursday morning.  Anyway, she started SCREAMING at me about the production sheet.  I stood up and said "I don't appreciate being screamed at like I'm a four year old, or some kind of idiot. Over a PRODUCTION sheet?" I had an extremely hard time just saying that. I have never been so pissed off at a boss-and it is only because of the way she treats me- and ready to fight. (Which, by the way, she has to enter the production sheet info into the computer. So if she knows where to put each number, what does it matter if I put the number in two slots, or one? You would have to see the sheet to know what I mean.  By the way, I am not the only one who does this. I don't hear her screaming at anyone else about it, ever!!? And I have only been there four months.)    She apologized (eventually).  I said "Until the next time."  (What I was thinking was something totally different... It's too late, I don't accept your apology, at all. I know she wasn't sorry anyway..)  She asked me if I had anything else I wanted to say to her. (Pssshh.)  I said I didn't think it would be a good idea right now. (I probably would have gotten fired if I said what I was thinking.)   I cannot believe her. I don't know what her deal is.   I have never had such a horrible boss.  Thank goodness there is only twelve more days of school.   I haven't decided what I want to do. Whether or not I want to go back next year.  I  need the job.  But I don't know if it is worth it. I do like having the same days off as the kids, so I don't have to worry about a baby sitter. But, I only get 15 hours a week, and I have to work every day. And I have to deal with her. I guess we'll see what happens over the summer..  I'm not doing her any more favors or staying late or filling in for anyone any more. She thinks I'm going to fill in for the other boss; I can tell she thinks I am.  I'm not doing it. I get yelled at enough just doing my job. I can't take it.  By the way, when all the other girls came in, I hear her laughing and chatting it up with them in the office when they are doing their Skyward thing. ??  (No one else had done it either, and they got their paper work a long time ago?)  She is always doing that. Screams at me, best friends with everyone else..  I don't know what her deal is. I am documenting everything from now on. Wish me luck.      I haven't even felt like crocheting or knitting anything at all, lately. :(

(By the way, Friday, she was laughing, chatting it up with everyone - except me... I have never seen her scream at anyone like she does me.  I cannot stand her!!! Why did she even hire me?)

Sunday, April 27, 2014

I haven't felt much like crocheting or knitting, lately...  I don't know why. But I did make a card. I signed up for the Pen Pal Match-Up on Ravelry, in the Love of Letters group.  This is the card I made my new pen pal.

We went fishing after dinner last night. Eon was the only one who caught anything! Lol  This was the first fish he caught, a baby bass.

And this was a Bluegill he caught. The bluegill was a pretty good size. But we didn't keep either one.

Then today we went for a little road trip. This is Center Hill Dam.

This was from another little road trip my husband and I went on, Friday after I got home from work. He was off work all week. (No work.) So we went on a date, to Muddy Pond. It's not all that exciting. But... something to do. I shouldn't have wasted money on the new quilting book(let).  I don't know why I did..  Especially when all of my fabric is still in storage, in Nevada. Oh well..  :P
This picture actually should have gone with the fishing pictures. This is the lake we fished at. And the sunset was 80% more beautiful in real life. The sky (and the reflection of it on the lake) was pink and purple.. It was so beautiful.

Easter dinner. :)  My  husband bought me some "Easter flowers". They aren't doing well now. I should plant them in the ground outside somewhere. I don't know if that would help.  Anyway, I made ham, green beans, dinner rolls. And hash brown casserole, for dinner. Nothing fancy. I didn't make anything for dessert, either.  The hash brown casserole was yummy. I used this Cracker Barrel Copycat Hashbrown Casserole recipe

Another Pair of Booties

I finished these last night. This morning I took a quick picture (not the greatest, sorry) on my way out the door; because I was going to see if my boss wanted to buy them. She had asked me a while ago, how much I would charge for a pair. I told her $10. (If you buy a skein of yarn to make a pair, it cost $5. Incidentally, I didn't buy the yarn for these, it was given to me a long time ago.)  She bought them. I was so relieved. We really need the money this week. I posted it on facebook and instagram and hastagged #madmoney. But it's really more like #gasormilkandcoffeetiltheendoftheweek/paydaymoney.  O.o  It's kind of funny, because my boss said the girl (who she bought them for) is having her baby shower this weekend. So I finished them at the perfect time.    I also brought in some cookies this morning. I made some chocolate crinkles last night. I didn't take a picture of them, but here's the recipe I used.  (My boss LOVES cookies. She was so excited, she couldnt even talk at first. It was so cute..)    It's the little things... :P

Spring Flowers

I have been picking the daffodils in our backyard. I can see them from the kitchen window when I'm washing dishes. One day I said "I'm just going to pick them." :D  These actually lasted a long time. And they smelled really nice, too.

After I picked the yellow ones, these started to bloom. I picked these today. They don't smell very good. (Lol)

This is a picture I took today of our tree right by our driveway. I kept seeing these little purple buds on trees while I am driving. Then today I pulled in the driveway when I got home from work and my mouth fell open-- "We have one of those trees."  :P

Some trees downtown by the library. I kept driving by them and finally I took a picture (I was at a stoplight.)  They are all over town. (This is why my allergies are so bad...)  But they are so beautiful. After living in the ugly desert for six years, I am loving all the flowers and trees.. :D

I finished these for a girl at work who had a baby boy. I didn't know if she was having a boy or a girl (and neither did my boss). So I made them in neutral colors a boy or a girl could wear.  I brought them in this Monday. I finished them just in time, because she had her baby over the weekend!

And this is a pair I started for another girl who is due this month. My boss said she thinks she is having a girl. Not a very good picture. But I am using very old yarn an old friend gave me when we lived in Colorado. It's Red Heart Baby Wintuk. Fingering weight yarn.  I'm pretty sure this is a discontinued yarn. But I haven't googled it yet. :P  Have a great weekend..

Some Recent Roosters

I posted a picture a couple days or so ago, of some rooster hot pads I wanted to make some more of. I think I crocheted those in 2008 or 9..  Well, I did finish a couple, over Spring Break. I actually finished one more, black but with a different yarn for the tail feathers/comb.  I also bought three skeins of cotton to make more: two brown skeins, one burnt orange..  I added these two to my Etsy store. Finished the third one a couple days later.  It's kind of turning into my "Watching TV" project. (I started a brown one.)

"Tulips" and Fishing

I went for a big adventerous walk in the back yard today. (Well, maybe it was for Jetta. ;) I hooked up her harness and took her out the side door while Duke was out front on the chain.)  Here are the "Tulips" that are coming up. ;)  Lol  They're daffodils. Poor hubby doesn't know flowers..  They are so pretty.  They're coming up in a lot of spots.

Some blooms ready to open.

And here are some pictures I took when we went fishing last weekend. Just at the lake by our subdivision.  We didn't catch anything. But I know Eon liked it. Every time he would get a bite he would get excited (in a "I'm too cool" kind of way..).

This is where the boats can launch off from.

He caught on how to cast by himself real quick. He did really good.  I still have to put the worms on for him. Kind of funny, because I did that myself, when I was younger than him. ;) (And he's a boy..)   Steve went again the next day, and took Eon with him. They went to a new lake but didn't catch anything there, either. (I think it is still too early/cold.)  But they had fun! Eon came in when they got home and said "I got a bite but he took my worm."  ;P   I think it's great. Now if we can just get Eli to go! They need to start going outside and doing other things besides video games. It was too hot in NV/nothing to do there. But there are lots of outdoor things to do/places to go here. And they really need to go outside more.
Some ducks and a swan. They would just come up next to you. I almost was afraid they would attack us, a couple times..  Probably (well, I know for sure) because people feed them. I saw a bunch of crackers and Doritos on the ground next to the dock.   I made a video, too. But I still do not know how to get a video on here.

Random Thoughts

I have been trying to think of what to crochet (I am almost done with my bunny idea) over Spring Break. I've also been tryinng to think of things I could put in my Etsy store.  Well yesterday I was baking a cake (because "there's nothing to eat".. Lol). I opened up the hot pad drawer and saw my rooster hot pad. I thought, "I should crochet one of those!"..  I think I have only made three so far. I was trying to think of other colors to make, too. Of all the yarn I brought with me from NV, I brought all my dishcloth cotton (and baby yarn). I'll have to see what colors I could use. I started another black one last night. I didn't have enough of the black/white for the tail. So I went to Hobby Lobby. I didn't see any black/white, but I got some grey/white that will work for the tail/comb.

I took this picture two days ago. It was sunny and 74. Beautiful. But then yesterday it was cold, rainy, and super windy. :(  Today is starting out cold, too.  Our neighbors tree is already bloomed. Probably not going to be good for his tree. Our big tree in our back yard hasn't bloomed yet. It's supposed to get beautiful flowers on it. I will definitely take pictures. My husband said "some tulips or something" were coming up in the back yard, too; so I will have to go look.

I joined the March Postcard Pal Swap in the Love of Letters group on Ravelry.  I have not been able to find one postcard anywhere, since we moved here. So... I went googling and found these online.  I wanted to go somewhere while the kids are still on Break. So far we've only gone to the doctors.. :(  I tried to get Eon to go to the library. But he didn't want to. I need to go to the Post Office today to get postcard stamps. Maybe I can talk him into going to the Museum across the street. Maybe the museum will have some postcards, too.    Oh, I take that back. We did go get our licenses, and went fishing. I will have to post about that. We didn't catch anything, but I think Eon really liked it.

Another Pair of Minion Slippers

Messing around with my phone again.. :D I finished these today.  I posted them for sale in my Etsy Store.  I've had a couple things in there (another pair of minion slippers, a bow ear warmer), but nothing has sold yet. I'm thinking when it starts getting closer to Christmas/colder outside, maybe I will get more sales. (I'm hoping..)  I'm pretty happy with how this pair turned out.  I was thinking about how I used to try and get into Craft Shows. I never actually did a show (because I never had enough stuff to sell at a show). That's kind of why I like the Etsy stores. I can just add things as I finish them.  If they don't sell, maybe I will have enough by that time to actually do a Craft Show. Lol   There is a store in a strip mall here that has booths to sell your things. One has (way overpriced, IMO) crocheted items in it. I don't know how much it would cost to rent a stall.   Guess I will stick with the Etsy store for a while... Okay I'm done rambling. :P

Bow Ear Warmer

I finished my bow ear warmer yesterday.  Here is the link to the Etsy store where I got the pattern. (Swellamy.) Bow Ear Warmer. You get two patterns, another ear warmer pattern called Bobble Ear Warmer (I think), and this one.

I wore it all day.  It got kind of itchy after a while.

I told you, it was an "I don't feel like doing my hair day.." :P  I wasn't going anywhere. So.

I don't know if you can tell, but that's Duke getting into a bag of puppy food. :P  I guess it tastes better out of the bag. I worked on my Minion Slippers a little, too. I'm almost to the toe part.

Banana Bread

I made a double batch of banana bread yesterday. I had five bananas in the freezer. Used them all up. I have to feed my "starving" kids. ;)   (Plus, I do like to bake..)  I downloaded a free photo editer on my phone, and I have been playing with it. (I took this picture with my phone.)   I have two smaller bread pans (which I really like, they're good for making bread to give as gifts), and the one pictured. I also made some Whipped Honey Butter to go with it (so yummy on warm banana bread... Although I have to say-- I should not be eating it with butter..) I don't remember where I got the recipe for the honey butter. But I just basically pour some honey into some room temp (softened) butter. And "whip" (stir) it. :P  But if  you want an official recipe: Whipped Honey Butter.  :)

I haven't started my bunny I had an idea for, yet. I am working on finishing some Minion Slippers first. (Then I will have two pairs to put in my Etsy store.)   I did start a Bow Ear Warmer for myself today, though.  I have made several for gifts (second and third pictures) for other people. I haven't made any for myself though.  Today is a "I don't feel like doing my hair" day. So...  :P  I probably won't get the headband done today. Oh well.

Easter Puff Pal Bunny Is Done

I finished this guy last night. I did the legs, arms, and ears yesterday. (Well. One leg was done. So.)  I technically still need to make a pom-pom, for his tail. I hope the little boy will like it.   I have an idea for another bunny. I kind of had an idea for a pillow, too.. I might start the bunny over Spring Break. Then, it's back to work. So..

I'm thinking about making banana bread today. I have a bunch of bananas in the freezer. I might make chocolate banana bread. I guess I will ask my husband which kind he wants. It's really foggy out, and it looks beautiful this morning. Have a great day, everyone.

Project Progress and Snow..

I finished crocheting the bunny's body last night, and sewed the head on. I also finished a leg. But then I realized I did the colors backwards. I think I'm just going to go with it. The darker colors will be better anyway for the reservation.  (The legs/arms are supposed to be, the darker color for the feet/hands, the lighter color for the rest.) I did it backwards: lighter color for the feet, darker for the leg. :P

It snowed yesterday. I was a little surprised. I said "It's not supposed to snow on Spring Break."  This is about all the snow we got. Maybe a little bit more, but not much..  I didn't think it would be so cold or have this much snow down here.

Here is a picture of a Creepy Clown!! Eon drew in Art Class. He brought all his art projects/papers home last Friday. Since Art Class is over now. :(   The "SM" stands for "Super Market".   I know he just drew this to try and give me nightmares. ;)

I thought I would share a few cute doggy pictures..  :)  Eon was messing around with an old pair of my glasses. I was looking for something in my nightstand for him (ear plugs, I think) because it was storming and windy and he said he wouldn't be able to sleep. I didn't find any ear plugs, but I found a couple pairs of mine and hubby's old glasses. These are mine.  He put them on Duke. :P  Being the Ham he is, Duke posed for a picture... :P

And here he is again, in a basket...   Lol

I took this one of Jetta. She turned three years old in January. You wouldn't know it since she has regressed to her puppy days, it seems like (since we got Duke).

Did anyone get any Paczki's today? I wanted to, but my husband took my truck to work today. :(  I could take his, but it's been a long time since I've driven a stick. Plus.. it's a stinky work truck.   I texted him, so maybe he will bring some home. (Knowing him, he will bring a bag of powdered donut holes home.. Sigh..) Gotta love him, he tries, though. :p   Happy Fat Tuesday, everyone. :D

New Project, and A Double Ear Infection :(

I *think* I started this Friday afternoon. I know it was this week. I knew Spring Break was coming, so... I thought "I should start something new/fun.."  Well after digging through all my patterns, I thought I would start an Easter Puff Pal. It's a pattern that a member of the Crafting For A Cause yahoo group (non-existent, any longer) had; and a few of us had gotten a copy. :D    I'd been wanting to make one, forever... So...   I finally started one. I think I am going to give this to a little boy I still sponsor on Pine Ridge.    With some other goodies, of course.

The first day of Spring Break, Eon woke up saying his ear hurt really bad. :(  I knew he had had a cold for almost two weeks, so I instantly thought "Ear infection".  I asked him if he wanted to go to the doctor; and he said no at first (he will fight it to the end). But then he said yes. I asked him if he wanted some Tylenol (he will fight that to the end, too) and he said yes for that, too. I got in the shower to get ready, and when I came out he was snoring. So I waited until he woke up, then we went. He had a double ear infection. :(   I felt so bad. He had only that morning complained- at all. But it had to have been bothering him for a while, to get that bad. The doctor said his right ear was bulging and about to burst. :(  Then looked in his other ear and that was infected, too. She asked if she could have a Med Student look at his ears, because this was a "classic good case". (Why did that not make me feel good?..)  They gave him a shot to kick start him, and some antibiotics to take home.  Poor Guy. He fell asleep on the way to the doctor. Fell asleep in the waiting room. Fell asleep after they gave him a shot, on the table! Then we had to go out in the waiting room and wait for our prescription to be filled (they do it right there, which was nice so we didn't have to go to the pharmacy, too). Well he fell asleep out there and on the way home, and after we got home. Slept all day.  You know they're sick when they sleep like that.  :((    He is feeling a lot better today, though. I'm so glad.
