A picture of the little "Doll botttles" I got at the Dollar Tree, for the little dolls I got there. <br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJwKebArNFqecg3UR0UdHvsbRrR2Ok8M2GUHaACT1y2kMTB9m_0npmH7wZUWlTlMNwbFjwO56URLrQgl3qtbVJPgw48Z14eqZAy2kvEbAOpk-H7z_PIDZpnKuvSHnPADtQrzgum6OsGuNQJhX1i7I_BEwKv8dlaftpyw8hJie9h9gHmlNcQFFqZg/s4000/IMG_20240302_123951334.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="2250" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJwKebArNFqecg3UR0UdHvsbRrR2Ok8M2GUHaACT1y2kMTB9m_0npmH7wZUWlTlMNwbFjwO56URLrQgl3qtbVJPgw48Z14eqZAy2kvEbAOpk-H7z_PIDZpnKuvSHnPADtQrzgum6OsGuNQJhX1i7I_BEwKv8dlaftpyw8hJie9h9gHmlNcQFFqZg/s320/IMG_20240302_123951334.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>This is a bunny in a sleeping bag. I got a magazine just for this pattern a couple weeks ago. It was a lot of work but I finished it. I haven't embroidered a face on for a long time and I didn't like it. But I think it came out all right. <br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigBlAKGDFyt1hxT07V9bU2XVs2WF7w5fpiaPpRK7YzEudNlqPDLM19Bzsx3gX5hTUS79cohH_ENeQJEQytH3YFQCY0TAhhCIyoYAZalyyt2_8sxwlxKv1O95tpjzieHMPYU9kkcv-26N_i_wTa8q6-GwctYrV-iEPmyWt44_S-qzf6NmvGkhYFcg/s4000/IMG_20240307_103222461.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="2250" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEigBlAKGDFyt1hxT07V9bU2XVs2WF7w5fpiaPpRK7YzEudNlqPDLM19Bzsx3gX5hTUS79cohH_ENeQJEQytH3YFQCY0TAhhCIyoYAZalyyt2_8sxwlxKv1O95tpjzieHMPYU9kkcv-26N_i_wTa8q6-GwctYrV-iEPmyWt44_S-qzf6NmvGkhYFcg/s320/IMG_20240307_103222461.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>And this is a Unicorn Doll outfit I finished. I thought it would fit my 12 inch doll but it didn't. So I tried it on a 15 inch doll I have. It's too big for her, too. Sigh... It's a paid pattern, but it is also a<a href="https://hookfully.com/free-unicorn-baby-dolls-onesie-crochet-pattern/">vailable for free on her blog.</a><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMcDD-UT5AY5LlAiNk2DWlp1VoIMyAVJOrFU135UnU9MulS87emwdpVcxU8Ls5mwFAm0MaRhjPZx5wtn5M_CfZuIBq0OTlQYt99o5xAG_8c5Wi7KyqSLFHLtyV89sfezE7Eutwsz2H_vd6CKmCMvfb1ay6GIMpU58ZhzviH1ZKXVmkiVPzvFKVXA/s4000/IMG_20240307_103332441.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="2250" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMcDD-UT5AY5LlAiNk2DWlp1VoIMyAVJOrFU135UnU9MulS87emwdpVcxU8Ls5mwFAm0MaRhjPZx5wtn5M_CfZuIBq0OTlQYt99o5xAG_8c5Wi7KyqSLFHLtyV89sfezE7Eutwsz2H_vd6CKmCMvfb1ay6GIMpU58ZhzviH1ZKXVmkiVPzvFKVXA/s320/IMG_20240307_103332441.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>Without the doll inside. I am going to have to get a bigger doll, I guess. This is for if I ever get a grandbaby (girl grandbaby). :)<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-VPx6_YNzV1VoSAgT_eywNfaQqISbjHj5benVs5TqVwpXrJM3zXTnuxT7kyuwycUPeqBpWQJyqF1c66iOh3STHvFdR5PSLEuMxBkGjrDLOoQyscGxvqWcu0Ye1XugX3tNIWbkbHVtxbcnrjQQfvG_rcQQwQ5aOqWbWPqG9gaFv5hCtgTXHgotVg/s4000/IMG_20240307_110357341.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="2250" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-VPx6_YNzV1VoSAgT_eywNfaQqISbjHj5benVs5TqVwpXrJM3zXTnuxT7kyuwycUPeqBpWQJyqF1c66iOh3STHvFdR5PSLEuMxBkGjrDLOoQyscGxvqWcu0Ye1XugX3tNIWbkbHVtxbcnrjQQfvG_rcQQwQ5aOqWbWPqG9gaFv5hCtgTXHgotVg/s320/IMG_20240307_110357341.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>And I crocheted these slippers, they are from the same magazine as the rabbit in the sleeping bag. I will most likely donate these to the reservation.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHsG5VLN1S4WrhnURJfket66P42eZpbxvtcyTUHoOtxSehYMJLEhZVLrflkwQ_XQA1z8CJ1SdRlSi62zgtQJzFhe6rZl29Od0QLhSQTF-1MB-PjNEHuPFhps1E6b9e9sA8c00JdJSZgAX6cfcDo_wj4EcQQ9TyaVa7yEKgBzVYVNS0ayEbX6URwg/s4000/IMG_20240307_111529149.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="2250" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHsG5VLN1S4WrhnURJfket66P42eZpbxvtcyTUHoOtxSehYMJLEhZVLrflkwQ_XQA1z8CJ1SdRlSi62zgtQJzFhe6rZl29Od0QLhSQTF-1MB-PjNEHuPFhps1E6b9e9sA8c00JdJSZgAX6cfcDo_wj4EcQQ9TyaVa7yEKgBzVYVNS0ayEbX6URwg/s320/IMG_20240307_111529149.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>And, a doll dress I finished. (Technically it is not finished, I still have to do the waistband and sew closures on the top of the dress. I also did another one just like this, but smaller for a dollar tree doll. In a coral color. Ugh I can't find that picture so I will have to catch up with that one later, too.<br /> <p></p>Tinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16887318294287047220noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14093327.post-11020315378833272302024-03-10T05:52:00.000-07:002024-03-10T05:54:26.073-07:00<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAZ2V3IZbYQ_6xg9YrcizGfPPk6oxTH8V4mgYxhb0MficNcEe7gFchi0p8_tO-WJVaDYJSV7fMa2atSPtNzZM27zU99r6qkkg2rgfg3boP7dTK0BqATaP-OSVX6UJXmiVhT4uuWEakItiCIvkKbL5SpjwxnWOCZTM_Cf9SJDLcuiawW1ra-ZsGMw/s4000/IMG_20240125_144300026.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="2250" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAZ2V3IZbYQ_6xg9YrcizGfPPk6oxTH8V4mgYxhb0MficNcEe7gFchi0p8_tO-WJVaDYJSV7fMa2atSPtNzZM27zU99r6qkkg2rgfg3boP7dTK0BqATaP-OSVX6UJXmiVhT4uuWEakItiCIvkKbL5SpjwxnWOCZTM_Cf9SJDLcuiawW1ra-ZsGMw/s320/IMG_20240125_144300026.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>Well, this isn't all the things I have finished. But I thought I would post them anyway. I can't keep up. Between being tired all the time and having to watch the dogs. I saw a reel on Facebook and thought it was so cute. It didn't have a link so I went looking for a pattern and <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w_xprdAzucg&list=LL&index=67&t=32s">I found one on YouTube</a>. It is a LOT of weaving in ends, and I would sew a backing on the back part to cover up all the sewing too. I bought some felt, but I still need to sew it on. Or what I will do with it.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJaVovfinGihiVAC09Ojw97iorWUfW2V5RROt5gTKefB4gImdwCUScoBy55VSSAwC9pEMMwhiWGJAUdjyhJJWwKBbMXL68qRZNusIEoEVoN9QJCnqF8Q9PB_KtQffqdAVoOBMGX2HHLk3PhLx0I29W1LcwljJBvdylLKFdhmsyEnuwrVZdCHoFPg/s4000/IMG_20240129_104428180.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="2250" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJaVovfinGihiVAC09Ojw97iorWUfW2V5RROt5gTKefB4gImdwCUScoBy55VSSAwC9pEMMwhiWGJAUdjyhJJWwKBbMXL68qRZNusIEoEVoN9QJCnqF8Q9PB_KtQffqdAVoOBMGX2HHLk3PhLx0I29W1LcwljJBvdylLKFdhmsyEnuwrVZdCHoFPg/s320/IMG_20240129_104428180.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>Here's another keychain I finished. Not the best picture. <br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8n47odyNyp9ku5tqEuhQ-a3hFIJNXIjzsbUAXaHRNXXZXmIpfNOlYqXfPknrHy22ST5pbFezEkUTvvmN4cn-mt2xdOERcPE5-GHgjhKzx2hjRXhGvq1kFoy264k6VZaGS_q-FlfNjrHsM2e0m2oWU6Re8zFS6e8SW9zNWAbR9Y75e1xZQlXo-uw/s4000/IMG_20240211_130550193.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="2250" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh8n47odyNyp9ku5tqEuhQ-a3hFIJNXIjzsbUAXaHRNXXZXmIpfNOlYqXfPknrHy22ST5pbFezEkUTvvmN4cn-mt2xdOERcPE5-GHgjhKzx2hjRXhGvq1kFoy264k6VZaGS_q-FlfNjrHsM2e0m2oWU6Re8zFS6e8SW9zNWAbR9Y75e1xZQlXo-uw/s320/IMG_20240211_130550193.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>And these are two bigger dolls I bought for the "Baby Syndee Layette" patterns. You can see I already crocheted one outfit. I just have to do the elastic around the waist for the panties. These got put on the back burner, since I've been doing hats and squares for chemo patients lately. I am honestly getting overwhelmed with all my projects. I hate it when this happens. It takes the fun out of crocheting for me.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh36AYBpuNL01noVx7gAmh5f0ZoLczufzDWOUOu-0z-VUjZGmddyxZEXlE35RmdAN0jLdSXpCmfONZPxnnqQm1z8B6kvIKMou12LFrKM4U9WAY9UiqlgeaE8NJaH8ItZjYnsdnQ64xYHIxgMehtzvpUFtzQxNwakbB3wy-SvExMQf0uIf2kE3PrVg/s4000/IMG_20240211_130413745.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2250" data-original-width="4000" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh36AYBpuNL01noVx7gAmh5f0ZoLczufzDWOUOu-0z-VUjZGmddyxZEXlE35RmdAN0jLdSXpCmfONZPxnnqQm1z8B6kvIKMou12LFrKM4U9WAY9UiqlgeaE8NJaH8ItZjYnsdnQ64xYHIxgMehtzvpUFtzQxNwakbB3wy-SvExMQf0uIf2kE3PrVg/s320/IMG_20240211_130413745.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>I had seen a Facebook page, "Chemo Project Crochet" or something like that. She takes squares and makes them into comfortghans for chemo patients. Some of them are small children. That's what the squares I am doing are for, small children. I have had this big bag of variegated yarn forever that I got at a yard sale in Nevada. I was going to do the Square Bear pattern. But I could not wrap my head around it!! (I tried it the second day after I had chemo, so I am blaming it on chemo brain...) I was looking at my blog, and <a href="https://timelesscreations.blogspot.com/2012/05/square-bears-and-graduation-bear.html">I know I'd done lots of these squares before</a>! So a couple days later, I tried again. I figured it out. :P This is what I had done (I finished one more each of the peach and the green bears since this picture was taken). I don't know how many I will do. I was kind of thinking five each. But, I am getting overwhelmed. I still have to do all the faces on the squares... (Sigh) Here <a href="https://timelesscreations.blogspot.com/2012/09/scarecrow-more-squares-for-knit-square.html">are some more squares I did</a> before, too. All different colored ones.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDjwWy2sZShfhTclIfw7PV5gQzpyU8Ks1tGSXMAzyxblhZfOiDqadXTrXg6k9zhdqF9EQQ-6kQBlyFXB6155t-t4l-LALLZFZ3tzBtMUK-LSRNHr9gXwbM16jCOsi0MmZHqm7cdnTyn6pbengxkakFq0EBPHfU9eEboY-oxmwQ4T340pBn1_vpYA/s4000/IMG_20240213_143348310%20(1).jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2250" data-original-width="4000" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDjwWy2sZShfhTclIfw7PV5gQzpyU8Ks1tGSXMAzyxblhZfOiDqadXTrXg6k9zhdqF9EQQ-6kQBlyFXB6155t-t4l-LALLZFZ3tzBtMUK-LSRNHr9gXwbM16jCOsi0MmZHqm7cdnTyn6pbengxkakFq0EBPHfU9eEboY-oxmwQ4T340pBn1_vpYA/s320/IMG_20240213_143348310%20(1).jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6A2EBP-MHoedPleAJET2wPubdj2tMBCrlZ53pqg_QRCiSasYVjU_Due37bx08GBwDMmv3acRfTkdpTuD5gDG_yFbjkHq5zJu6SXQNa3LvtiphlXGrgBWJMO6KDUAOisNd9a4n05C0A7jUuXYCBGoDjLq9VaO0Rl0moEIH_VU9CIYorpYxo2-eOg/s4000/IMG_20240213_143307711%20(1).jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2250" data-original-width="4000" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6A2EBP-MHoedPleAJET2wPubdj2tMBCrlZ53pqg_QRCiSasYVjU_Due37bx08GBwDMmv3acRfTkdpTuD5gDG_yFbjkHq5zJu6SXQNa3LvtiphlXGrgBWJMO6KDUAOisNd9a4n05C0A7jUuXYCBGoDjLq9VaO0Rl0moEIH_VU9CIYorpYxo2-eOg/s320/IMG_20240213_143307711%20(1).jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /> And, I did these. I was diagnosed with cancer last October. I have been going through that (a lot, mentally, physically...). I have been getting chemo. Yesterday was my fourth round. I have still been crocheting. I think it's the only thing (besides my family) keeping me going sometimes. On the days I feel good enough to crochet. 😊 This was my last project of 2023. I started getting into crocheting doll things again. And buying dolls. I should have uploaded the picture of all the dolls I bought. I bought six or seven of these size dolls at the dollar store. They usually don't have any white ones in, so I was (so excited) getting a bunch while they had some that day. <br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQTX0MGGLvhY0M6qFDWT3DtvR8Tjmv8qlNUVcg0cgl1uIodlrvE3VRo8Xpy4k5fSFz1UQ2k7_0YahZ1oI5M2l4OQWPeYVueVqg7n1eijMc5mskq-aknIICqvfZyge_YdbZwqcO3hCD5rr3hTpNPYvlSRGPyP2FFm30UnoOdVR59LwP_qHDIb0j_w/s4000/IMG_20231230_092700298_BURST000_COVER.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="2250" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQTX0MGGLvhY0M6qFDWT3DtvR8Tjmv8qlNUVcg0cgl1uIodlrvE3VRo8Xpy4k5fSFz1UQ2k7_0YahZ1oI5M2l4OQWPeYVueVqg7n1eijMc5mskq-aknIICqvfZyge_YdbZwqcO3hCD5rr3hTpNPYvlSRGPyP2FFm30UnoOdVR59LwP_qHDIb0j_w/s320/IMG_20231230_092700298_BURST000_COVER.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>I did a cradle purse, pillow and blanket. I also bought some little bottles at the dollar store. I'll have to upload that picture, too. And I bought a bigger sized doll (it came in a pack of two dolls, with bottles, and other things..). I'll have to upload all those for another post. <br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHIfZnKv5t8BHbqAtFvAojozAlzyg4Elf5NJHn98XV44TQbVuGWfaqNS5K7Sm8fgwZEyn1qEJ13J0Yd2njyIWF7zoPffnJGySCd0qEsHSbHUpkpsUq57sJJ0ZF-lgFJR9xTmeEWHLQN6KgjY7Alxs48k2k8KHm3H6IN9m1ZrYQ7US8uwRe_HQosg/s4000/IMG_20240121_163012999.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2250" data-original-width="4000" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHIfZnKv5t8BHbqAtFvAojozAlzyg4Elf5NJHn98XV44TQbVuGWfaqNS5K7Sm8fgwZEyn1qEJ13J0Yd2njyIWF7zoPffnJGySCd0qEsHSbHUpkpsUq57sJJ0ZF-lgFJR9xTmeEWHLQN6KgjY7Alxs48k2k8KHm3H6IN9m1ZrYQ7US8uwRe_HQosg/s320/IMG_20240121_163012999.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>This is a hexi cardigan sweater I've been working on. For me. I keep seeing them on Facebook in crochet groups I am in. I have crocheted so many baby hexagon sweaters. I remember when I translated the one youtube video of the hexagon sweater all those years ago.. It's about time I made one for myself! I just am using yarn I have since we don't have a lot of money.. You can google hexi cardigan, there's so many different ones. I'm using one I saw on YouTube. (You would think the pattern would be imprinted in my brain by now.. But..) :p<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQj4pAaAxHu9lGOAGmLraNJw3O6YWl5oFM1P6fAgtcyxx1o_qqtBoXOjuRIjKTYLULUTMU-ivl1d-wJIiOvwte3f-nXstSTRW7s3wK3r_luHTbNx-3JI5tBMmgRNiBYyEGJSd3Z7F7iya8XrCpoTJ4CelP7s4ErrMICetAicS1AyPH-uqekNonGA/s2048/420060952_10160572720144442_8935664388453924991_n.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1153" data-original-width="2048" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQj4pAaAxHu9lGOAGmLraNJw3O6YWl5oFM1P6fAgtcyxx1o_qqtBoXOjuRIjKTYLULUTMU-ivl1d-wJIiOvwte3f-nXstSTRW7s3wK3r_luHTbNx-3JI5tBMmgRNiBYyEGJSd3Z7F7iya8XrCpoTJ4CelP7s4ErrMICetAicS1AyPH-uqekNonGA/s320/420060952_10160572720144442_8935664388453924991_n.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>And, I have been crocheting hats. There is a cart with a bunch of hats people have donated for the chemo patients, that they can take if they want one. (My hair started falling out about a week after I started treatment.. But it's still not bad enough I need a hat all the time..) Anyway, I said "I don't need a hat, I can crochet one. And I can crochet some more for the cart!" This one incidentally (coincidentally) is the same yarn as my sweater. :P IT's called the "Delaney Hat".<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_0fK4S8VYxpQLi1mcx7eRNk8dGRBCw5K6rdop2unBiHE1xgAeWLOHFxO_-e5TLdWEe04PJcgpit0Kq-M-j1fwml82WYg08mq0p-wmYa-4E4LoQnM9rvqJRFqTJEWvhx_LvnvRYlYllFkrfI5KMPnWlq9IccROXUJWNj5Qz5MSFAYq7iADPM9aSQ/s2048/420063038_10160572172054442_6698853622220221307_n.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1153" data-original-width="2048" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_0fK4S8VYxpQLi1mcx7eRNk8dGRBCw5K6rdop2unBiHE1xgAeWLOHFxO_-e5TLdWEe04PJcgpit0Kq-M-j1fwml82WYg08mq0p-wmYa-4E4LoQnM9rvqJRFqTJEWvhx_LvnvRYlYllFkrfI5KMPnWlq9IccROXUJWNj5Qz5MSFAYq7iADPM9aSQ/s320/420063038_10160572172054442_6698853622220221307_n.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>This one is a popular one right now, for Valenine's Day. I've done two in this color. One is mine. The other one, one of my MA's one day said she loved my hat where did I get it? I said I crocheted it. Well long story short, I did one just like it for her, but I tweaked the pattern and made it five stitches lenghtwise, and I added two extra rows widthwise because she tried mine on and it was a little smallish. She said her coat is blue. But I was like "Blue... There's so many blues..." And ended up settling on one just like mine. I gave it to her yesterday at my appointment (I asked if she was working, and she was). She paid me a little. And I brought in all my other hats for the cart, too. It's a good thing I brought my hats in, the hat stash was getting low! <p></p><div>The Delaney Hat is no longer available online. :(</div>Tinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16887318294287047220noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14093327.post-36239585165541161332023-11-17T04:38:00.000-08:002023-11-17T04:45:55.215-08:00The Afghan and Sweater Set<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEje3fBKKBKkyxDa5YtiRQPxi1HmqFlC4MboOrUxJEt6rJojjU8CpmMT0zjCaC_g-6xPN3jL8KTg2bmrwuxYY1FL5LRQo_EWKKITbgfWUsTc6CAfyBYHHRHy3Ol1rOC6dKgRmnsW1dqgFosau7gjcB4n3Xl49Qyl8opiQPAlxo_cw_ic-nrZjdv5QA/s600/396977002_10160444289504442_7735071746109138753_n.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="338" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEje3fBKKBKkyxDa5YtiRQPxi1HmqFlC4MboOrUxJEt6rJojjU8CpmMT0zjCaC_g-6xPN3jL8KTg2bmrwuxYY1FL5LRQo_EWKKITbgfWUsTc6CAfyBYHHRHy3Ol1rOC6dKgRmnsW1dqgFosau7gjcB4n3Xl49Qyl8opiQPAlxo_cw_ic-nrZjdv5QA/s320/396977002_10160444289504442_7735071746109138753_n.jpg" width="180" /></a></div>Wow. The baby's room is actually "Rose Gold" color. Who can find rose gold baby yarn though? So, after much brain work and a lot of "UGHHHH", I just decided to do regular pink!! Sheesh. But then I decided to do a little sweater set. It's been a long time since I did a sweater set, since they cancelled the OB Ward thing I was sending to. I will have to find links for all these. The little mittens are my own pattern. The hat is the Pumpkin Side to Side hat. The booties are Christals' "Impatiently Waiting for Baby" pattern. I can't remember the sweater off the top of my head. I actually combined two patterns. (I did one sweater, but I added the little ties and edging from another pattern.) I need to start keeping track of all these things. I try and go back and see what pattern I used "for that one sweater I did", and I never put the link in for it! I am going to go see right now, so I don't forget.<p></p><p>Of course, I already put all the patterns away. <a href="https://favoritelittleprincess.blogspot.com/2013/06/easy-baby-sweater-and-hat.html">I managed to find the sweater pattern I did</a>. But, I used the <a href="http://web.archive.org/web/20040512111422/members.aol.com/fourleafcl1064/page11.html">ties and edging for this sweater pattern</a>. I wanted something old fashioned looking. <a href="http://peanutzmomspatternplace.blogspot.com/2009/01/basic-newborn-side-to-side-hat.html">The hat pattern</a>. <a href="https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/impatiently-waiting-for-baby-booties">Impatiently Waiting For Baby Booties pattern</a>. <a href="https://tinascrochetpage.blogspot.com/search?q=mittens">My mittens pattern</a>. OMG I forgot about my other blog. I don't even remember how to get into that blog! (Sigh...) Anyway, I have all the links there for future reference. Finally got it together for once. 😜 Now let's see if I can get it together to mail these in time before the baby is born! </p>Tinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16887318294287047220noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14093327.post-20478007581415609672023-11-17T04:12:00.000-08:002023-11-17T04:12:49.184-08:00I'm Still Here...<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCD8IPK8HUTeDbOEoXOzuQiwoXoax4MNrmmqhVpPKZZCQ2lHcDTn26CJp4MnCTNZ8eQJUtBzDWqE-WVwXO_8TsdJrX4z-0bp2mxy1gvPgu2Sb3RDGrTZ_JZmjibQz1fc7rUg_X6an7PykPW3Wg-LEBR0LAyJypkJBZICEcvBG6fizBUv8dts07Nw/s600/396549348_10160437246379442_2191456501525232356_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="600" data-original-width="591" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgCD8IPK8HUTeDbOEoXOzuQiwoXoax4MNrmmqhVpPKZZCQ2lHcDTn26CJp4MnCTNZ8eQJUtBzDWqE-WVwXO_8TsdJrX4z-0bp2mxy1gvPgu2Sb3RDGrTZ_JZmjibQz1fc7rUg_X6an7PykPW3Wg-LEBR0LAyJypkJBZICEcvBG6fizBUv8dts07Nw/s320/396549348_10160437246379442_2191456501525232356_n.jpg" width="315" /></a></div>I was having problems signing in to my blogger account. It was and still is a shock to me. Even though I have a family history of cancer; I am not an alcoholic, and I actually took care of myself, ate healthy, took vitamins, tried to exercise.... (The people in my family who had cancer did none of the above and were alcoholics). I went to a new doctor this week. And I was talking to one of the nurses before seeing the doctor. And she said it sounds like I just got some bad genes. And maybe I should get genetic testing. She said all of our boys should get screened for cancer young. 😢 I had been not feeling well, and had a busy summer with our two older boys coming to visit. I will try to update my blog, now that I finally got back in. I have been going crazy with stuff online, all my doctors and stuff I have to do online... 😖 I should be starting treatment(s) in a couple weeks. If you all can keep me in your prayers. </p>Tinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16887318294287047220noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14093327.post-53365217780384097402023-04-04T04:49:00.002-07:002023-04-04T04:53:30.749-07:00A Few Things I've Finished<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGxHt_yOtAEwg0fV0m-2VcXT2Wo7Zrk9qNmrGHpWvgn28ZBoPSGrbRpjm9jRKSlt-94PVvpLIzIYCgwMRxH50mR1Mwy8DwFoES68ff-Xs1Qp8VTJKgoe5gpnGWMdUGoHGq-ROqEbIEwpZ-UwEyGmfSWkXQOKuZJQ9soc8g1NvzrMpAOSy6wOA/s600/338937504_182674417889174_507331722222617974_n.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="338" data-original-width="600" height="180" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGxHt_yOtAEwg0fV0m-2VcXT2Wo7Zrk9qNmrGHpWvgn28ZBoPSGrbRpjm9jRKSlt-94PVvpLIzIYCgwMRxH50mR1Mwy8DwFoES68ff-Xs1Qp8VTJKgoe5gpnGWMdUGoHGq-ROqEbIEwpZ-UwEyGmfSWkXQOKuZJQ9soc8g1NvzrMpAOSy6wOA/s320/338937504_182674417889174_507331722222617974_n.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>I wanted to crochet a "bunny" doily for a friend for an Easter package. (Well, not this sweater. But the same pattern.) I couldn't find it anywhere. I know I had started it then realized I was using worsted weight yarn and it was coming out really huge. So maybe I frogged it. This one is coming out more to the right size. I have actually finished the neck edging, and sewn the ears on since I took this picture. I just need to sew buttons on for the eyes, and do the nose/mouth embroidery. I'm doing the bear. It's the <a href="https://www.yarnspirations.com/bernat-crochet-character-sweaters/BRC0229-009725M.html">Character Sweater </a>pattern, by Yarnspirations. I used to love crocheting baby things. But the group I was in (which, I will admit I did get burned out from it now and then) doesn't send baby things any more. So I don't really have anyone to make baby items for. But I decided to start making a stockpile of them, for if we ever have any grandbabies. <br /> <p></p>Tinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16887318294287047220noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14093327.post-27613942200926101882023-02-03T06:21:00.001-08:002023-02-03T06:21:17.136-08:00Balaclava<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnAeQ2ENSmAzzfqYEKQz9OhLI3hJKMc50IkodGnH5KTgVgxVO9v9hQ8vSPLVM3LkJjfNolb1Kzf1RWdDxlNgmYFzih6naH3Yyv91BxIVgR-GSw_je2FRu2pTBalDRgTNbv9Wm2_y069wY2EBI7UqLdnyuG04qpmoVWlcZ_cenSfzTzLSpzhaw/s2048/325732726_1314308576077725_2340856140919976_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnAeQ2ENSmAzzfqYEKQz9OhLI3hJKMc50IkodGnH5KTgVgxVO9v9hQ8vSPLVM3LkJjfNolb1Kzf1RWdDxlNgmYFzih6naH3Yyv91BxIVgR-GSw_je2FRu2pTBalDRgTNbv9Wm2_y069wY2EBI7UqLdnyuG04qpmoVWlcZ_cenSfzTzLSpzhaw/s320/325732726_1314308576077725_2340856140919976_n.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>I finished the balaclava for my son, after Christmas. I have really been getting into making cards from napkins. A friend of mine posted a video about it and I went straight to the Dollar (I should say, the dollar twenty-five) Store and looked for some cute napkins. This was around Fall/Thanksgiving time. I made an envelope, too. For these I used the saran wrap/wax paper method. And my iron. It was time consuming and kind of a pain. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRWOR8ryTYY">This isn't the video my friend posted, but it's a similar method</a>. (Except I used wax paper).<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgKRSxyMFpIxDIUm0aedqo0yDCEOr-vlwmsDriud6SsB9H3RvQ-8XLyd-zb_dxVHD1rvBBt8Sdgo8rfzQMhXczR-KHW3_gF_eriQmT8NId5fg8CUjrHycKXNpDCDDYRlNrToRpGaP9u_5ld0Gj1Lzh2D7ZkDgdvY3ayJSCwdpqpS8Lvtw7N4U/s2048/317591202_10159781358399442_3415553021231227747_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgKRSxyMFpIxDIUm0aedqo0yDCEOr-vlwmsDriud6SsB9H3RvQ-8XLyd-zb_dxVHD1rvBBt8Sdgo8rfzQMhXczR-KHW3_gF_eriQmT8NId5fg8CUjrHycKXNpDCDDYRlNrToRpGaP9u_5ld0Gj1Lzh2D7ZkDgdvY3ayJSCwdpqpS8Lvtw7N4U/s320/317591202_10159781358399442_3415553021231227747_n.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>Then, I was <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QI_PQEjQMAQ">watching a You Tube video of someone </a>I get so many good ideas from, and love watching her videos. And she was doing napkin cards. Her way was soooo much easier!! I put the tree up and decorated the house. My husband put all our light up outside yesterday; and decorations outside. We didn't decorate outside last year; because my husband wasn't here, he was still working where we used to live.. This little accordian book was from a tutorial. It was actually for a<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fi_t7FLKgeo"> "Fall Accordian Book".</a> But I did mine Christmas. <br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcIFMsGyA_fyAF2N6jUVxB9HiuJWOjAuDcTlL3wzOE2uT4dUkYjDbq5tAIwS_d0YR2ovga-mU83seeOwpgdfkdHtKQFG832oBZFI-IBfobs6ugH6x8VrENP3xV_W4QbWLIa6BEzrn5G1DU0DeR-sjSH0E3byVTFqeGGW_B2iPFG_k6trGUmbY/s2048/316285985_10159761466484442_7863310757833658044_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcIFMsGyA_fyAF2N6jUVxB9HiuJWOjAuDcTlL3wzOE2uT4dUkYjDbq5tAIwS_d0YR2ovga-mU83seeOwpgdfkdHtKQFG832oBZFI-IBfobs6ugH6x8VrENP3xV_W4QbWLIa6BEzrn5G1DU0DeR-sjSH0E3byVTFqeGGW_B2iPFG_k6trGUmbY/s320/316285985_10159761466484442_7863310757833658044_n.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>I started it with what I had. Then my husband said "Do you want to go to Hobby Lobby?" 🤯 When would I not want to go there?.. And I didn't know, but they had a big sale 40-60% off everything. (Which explains why there were so many people there...) I got some more Christmas card stock, and stickers, and ribbon.. He had ordered a balaclava online, to wear for work. He put it on and was showing me this "new" thing he got.😝 "Because it's too cold outside." I said, "I could have knitted you one! I've knitted a couple of those for your Dad for work." He said mine was probably not warm as this one is. I am going to knit him one anyway. I couldn't remember how I did these, though from the instructions/pattern in this book. There is a <a href="http://neseafarers.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/WSFS_Balaclava.pdf">balaclava free pattern online</a> that is more detailed that I might look at for help when I get to the face part. This is the closest pattern I could find to it: <a href="https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/basic-4ply-socks?fbclid=IwAR2SLFigMqo_aPXCobZ5_CDGldb7JBysau_7qV1HjpC1zs0E7rWvR6KjoGE">Ravelry: Basic 4ply socks pattern by Cindy Edmonds</a><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVRzN8yALz4rr0-qkCIwskc4T1O-WC4H6Jf5IzCskpg0KwhZUN91zAvNOW1JdFxBsBMeHH4O3h-YLJLbyI5uKK4T_86ChXhUkTU9Ni0s2fc_Bxv4_1vAWEiOljKCvSl-_1Fqc4bU8BWOi6vkX9Ygl_sWR-wmAt9hGV455ajdciN3NRHVOJuuY/s2048/312587511_10159645500199442_4600960807805680470_n%20(1).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVRzN8yALz4rr0-qkCIwskc4T1O-WC4H6Jf5IzCskpg0KwhZUN91zAvNOW1JdFxBsBMeHH4O3h-YLJLbyI5uKK4T_86ChXhUkTU9Ni0s2fc_Bxv4_1vAWEiOljKCvSl-_1Fqc4bU8BWOi6vkX9Ygl_sWR-wmAt9hGV455ajdciN3NRHVOJuuY/s320/312587511_10159645500199442_4600960807805680470_n%20(1).jpg" width="240" /></a></div>And, I don't remember where I saw this (probably Pinterest). But I HAD to make one. I'm not sure if this is the exact pattern I used, but it looks like it: <a href="https://hookyarnpattern.blogspot.com/2008/12/granny-square-christmas-tree.html?fbclid=IwAR0iiDiNZ7zjEGFjsRlUUMS1F7RgcCxCnzMvNsUl1GAPqafdcvyW0fZ3ofk">Hook, Yarn, and Pattern: Granny Square Christmas Tree (hookyarnpattern.blogspot.com)</a><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN5WKKUcfsjB4CDDq6ShL0cTuwPjpLt2WoOCWC9-zxnzMMrPmjl92WbnwHm4ewTJGFrKXAIGX2Y6QKhRb3isXHJgvfW777r_QNQxpiveX__I1bQhIFQ260nPTZ4GuvYDmOkdGEVQM1unA-NlLN7PgOU7HiYU6SRN9evruRScNN1KccorFlktw/s2048/311569178_10159645500114442_1393629731970103854_n%20(1).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhN5WKKUcfsjB4CDDq6ShL0cTuwPjpLt2WoOCWC9-zxnzMMrPmjl92WbnwHm4ewTJGFrKXAIGX2Y6QKhRb3isXHJgvfW777r_QNQxpiveX__I1bQhIFQ260nPTZ4GuvYDmOkdGEVQM1unA-NlLN7PgOU7HiYU6SRN9evruRScNN1KccorFlktw/s320/311569178_10159645500114442_1393629731970103854_n%20(1).jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br /> And I did one in white with green and red trim, a lighter color tree trunk. I found the little bows at Dollar Tree, I think I got pom poms there, too. I have been craving Christmas Cookies lately... Too bad I haven't been in the mood to bake. <p></p>Tinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16887318294287047220noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14093327.post-1875474470677085322022-10-23T11:04:00.001-07:002022-10-23T11:04:10.208-07:00Halloween Crochet<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7PUuCyCTYKTxFuHvwPUUWAI-MRXGpUJxIzf2tNZpcs108ybhzau3It950DmDbhpAXsATdRKygUOpUZ28F09NWbQVQSKaX4Io4CuHkVw2uOBaL3Ta7jcG2Nhx3LcopEypqCoWGXvBw9337lmPSLhmnkGND7QZzc7kSsdwtJgWnwtJnZ9Ztx6E/s2048/309269453_10159589852104442_2586746607937254467_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7PUuCyCTYKTxFuHvwPUUWAI-MRXGpUJxIzf2tNZpcs108ybhzau3It950DmDbhpAXsATdRKygUOpUZ28F09NWbQVQSKaX4Io4CuHkVw2uOBaL3Ta7jcG2Nhx3LcopEypqCoWGXvBw9337lmPSLhmnkGND7QZzc7kSsdwtJgWnwtJnZ9Ztx6E/s320/309269453_10159589852104442_2586746607937254467_n.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>I managed to finish a couple Halloween things this year. I did a "Halloween Tree", using <a href="http://christmastreecrochet.blogspot.com/">this pattern</a> with only one strand of yarn and an H hook. I used a cone from some crochet cotton I had and it fit perfectly. The hat, spiders bats and skulls are those plastic rings from the Dollar Store. The hat, too.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbhscD317-KH1JU0RUnVzvDa6pLyaQmSGZ7degPGkO1hGy0gqInPkWHdxeKEWL-WedL2mA2fg9hlUCokB5D5QXgfp1t_MATj1H1C8Bm7JteJ-mMH5RofFVXQOXyik14nfgm-UNP6Rpo-Cqnwvo_nCaxRd6_9HEb3S-mHohldXxttGD5QwPA4c/s2048/306552979_10159564175139442_6852735316805043597_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbhscD317-KH1JU0RUnVzvDa6pLyaQmSGZ7degPGkO1hGy0gqInPkWHdxeKEWL-WedL2mA2fg9hlUCokB5D5QXgfp1t_MATj1H1C8Bm7JteJ-mMH5RofFVXQOXyik14nfgm-UNP6Rpo-Cqnwvo_nCaxRd6_9HEb3S-mHohldXxttGD5QwPA4c/s320/306552979_10159564175139442_6852735316805043597_n.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br /> And I was thinking of what else I could make. I wanted to do a ghost but I wanted something "more". I thought "I should just crochet a ghost and add a spinner to the bottom." So that's what I did. I used this <a href="https://www.neacreates.com/pattern/boo-the-ghost/?fbclid=IwAR1knk7pCItTJ-JetEqquh40MuhR9Y_EGL_8beDMuTQCdXahamXxVXvbxus">ghost pattern.</a> You could probably use any spinner pattern, there's free ones out there. I don't even remember what one I used. I hung the ghost up on our front porch (I took this picture upstairs). I wanted to another spinner Halloween thing but... Maybe next year. <p></p>Tinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16887318294287047220noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14093327.post-10213489146861705012022-10-15T10:37:00.002-07:002022-10-15T10:37:41.854-07:00RIP Jetta :(<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYGn6-XYqHA4nba5Dk4Wsm-1IqSDlLsy9JOP3NtrE3SwKmgkLS4Da9w8WdrUhHStF5fvc4Un-7w6gQkquerl3s1WQjcmVPJPd_ZZQQ5zocXaxzSKwsr5EadRqoc2eAd99Sh_sf5_0CDvzZzdIxl5krlbPINRGnMSK8TjUeLhHA67sp6iatFJY/s1095/311103508_10159609399839442_5406265501534446303_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1095" data-original-width="1080" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYGn6-XYqHA4nba5Dk4Wsm-1IqSDlLsy9JOP3NtrE3SwKmgkLS4Da9w8WdrUhHStF5fvc4Un-7w6gQkquerl3s1WQjcmVPJPd_ZZQQ5zocXaxzSKwsr5EadRqoc2eAd99Sh_sf5_0CDvzZzdIxl5krlbPINRGnMSK8TjUeLhHA67sp6iatFJY/s320/311103508_10159609399839442_5406265501534446303_n.jpg" width="316" /></a></div><br /> Our beloved Jetta passed away a week ago today. 😭 It was sudden. She had never been sick; then on Thursday morning she started vomiting all day. Friday she didn't vomit as much; I thought she was going to get better. Then Saturday morning she woke me up at 5 vomiting very bad. And she couldn't even walk. I took her to the Urgent Care veterinarian (her vet). They couldn't see anything wrong with her externally. But they did a blood test; she had kidney failure. 😭💔 I didn't want to see her suffer any longer. I didn't want to put her down, either. 😭 But it was the most humane thing to do for her. We all miss her a lot. She was a good dog. We had her since she was 14 weeks old; for ten years. <p></p>Tinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16887318294287047220noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14093327.post-57680186515910208812022-07-26T05:42:00.001-07:002022-07-26T05:42:29.885-07:00Antique Store Finds<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhupGitLGYC_z4p9ga9b1RXLWntM7Y7ayb7mLv26-XYGXttiN-H1K93kUFekEfwDHWMG2KlGAdtZPf0vdg68D5aoMlLJcnX9a1R3UNZyJ132DZKlV1rIMHCu-1KyIMyHbvkDbQ4gCESc4VPYyrSyfQZOingkfGcp1fXowZz1PdqZpBZy1rsWGc/s2048/295437729_10159491790524442_952226627064150631_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhupGitLGYC_z4p9ga9b1RXLWntM7Y7ayb7mLv26-XYGXttiN-H1K93kUFekEfwDHWMG2KlGAdtZPf0vdg68D5aoMlLJcnX9a1R3UNZyJ132DZKlV1rIMHCu-1KyIMyHbvkDbQ4gCESc4VPYyrSyfQZOingkfGcp1fXowZz1PdqZpBZy1rsWGc/s320/295437729_10159491790524442_952226627064150631_n.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>Over the weekend, we went to see my Father-In-Law. We were over an hour early, I kept saying to my husband, "We're way early.." He wouldn't say anything. "Why are we going this way, anyway?" Nothing... Then he pulled into a Craft/Antique Mall. He wanted to surprise me, he said. I wish we had more time to look around, that place is huge. I didn't realize until I walked into the antique part of the store, I had been there before. A lifetime ago, when my boys were little. I walked around the craft section first. Then the antiques. I saw this baby afghan. I thought it was very interesting. It looks like a mitered square. But the little holes have me confused. I posted on a couple places asking if anyone knew what the pattern is. No one seems to know. I kind of want to go back and buy it so I can try to copy it. Well, I do want to go back for sure. I could be there all day. I was rushed, so I didn't have time to look at everything.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiMDlXlWpg8FOKm_IfZv6jjigrlnSL3p8MJs2duFX8h9RVG60T4UkP1xdPaMmyVch_HZuPDXVeMHGdV-jiQH9bhCICGhYgy9ydLsrPrk8fVibvx01QLqXh9chscM7YernfrQOvJKIBbfY5ffAQWefUzVh0kY9Kcbsq2ufr8GgJzMGo8hSRGlA/s4000/IMG_20220725_120250623.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="3000" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiMDlXlWpg8FOKm_IfZv6jjigrlnSL3p8MJs2duFX8h9RVG60T4UkP1xdPaMmyVch_HZuPDXVeMHGdV-jiQH9bhCICGhYgy9ydLsrPrk8fVibvx01QLqXh9chscM7YernfrQOvJKIBbfY5ffAQWefUzVh0kY9Kcbsq2ufr8GgJzMGo8hSRGlA/s320/IMG_20220725_120250623.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>But (at the last second!) I found a Shelley Tea Cup!! I used to collect tea cups with saucers (around the same time as I went to that store before), but I didn't really know anything about them. But when I went to my (late) Aunt's house for lunch last Fall, she was showing me her Shelley Tea Cups she got in England when her daughter (my cousin) lived there. I was so impressed. Now I want some Shelley Tea Cups, I thought... I really don't love the flowers on this one, but it was the only one I could find. I had to put it inside my desk, so the cats don't go up there and knock it off and break it. <p></p><p>I also saw almost a whole booth with Fiestaware! I used blue eyes, because I couldn't find any black or brown safety eyes anywhere. But one day I was looking for something else in my sewing room, and I found some blue eyes. I had to stop where I was crocheting until I found eyes. So I was glad I found some. I haven't crocheted a <a href="https://timelesscreations.blogspot.com/2006/07/some-more-toys-ive-finished-recently.html">monkey</a> in a long time. She loves monkeys, so I hope she likes it. I found the pattern <a href="http://quesera.ojaru.jp/">on this site</a>.<br /> <p></p>Tinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16887318294287047220noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14093327.post-12782380027594027952022-07-12T10:53:00.003-07:002022-07-12T10:54:54.601-07:0020 Year Old Baby Quilt Project...<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdN68eRUNsaWkNOmlMmrI6oYEVVQ2S0g1IBCyP6q_6TszTl2DyKcBF60s3gespZMniBBn75mlbd9gy5SGh20uoBzJJWq7ftQRMBD3pWtM93wDKfr1hQjg3cXnGQmfNrn0xO1x2Nb72bwyeINmd8d_wryTBYoBhdRCHCAZQ2bO4WmD1jQ4T7tQ/s4000/IMG_20220711_120358131.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2643" data-original-width="4000" height="211" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdN68eRUNsaWkNOmlMmrI6oYEVVQ2S0g1IBCyP6q_6TszTl2DyKcBF60s3gespZMniBBn75mlbd9gy5SGh20uoBzJJWq7ftQRMBD3pWtM93wDKfr1hQjg3cXnGQmfNrn0xO1x2Nb72bwyeINmd8d_wryTBYoBhdRCHCAZQ2bO4WmD1jQ4T7tQ/s320/IMG_20220711_120358131.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>I worked on <a href="https://timelesscreations.blogspot.com/2013/05/pillowcases-and-baby-quilts-i-never.html">the baby quilt</a> some more yesterday. I started this thing when I was pregnant with our youngest son.We moved his bedroom downstairs and all my sewing/yarn/craft stuff upstairs, last weekend. (The air conditioner does not work up there and it is so hot..) I had my craft room almost all organized (downstairs), too. It's not completely how I want it upstairs, but I have SO much more room up there! The only thing is, it's a sloped ceiling and I keep whacking my head. 😏 But there are things I like better upstairs. Way more room. No windows right next to the neighbors' driveway, so I don't have to hear them every time they're outside. The windows are facing the street and backyard. But the back side of the house has an air conditioner in the window. (That doesn't work.) ~Anyway!~ <br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_6hk1UQ4C5PKF8C230gorMRCdyJ1lrYDalU-kaQJaBMZongmSKUy7cOxhOjWZ5Alub2kWGznPoH1rtv1-6x8EeJG3PSwdwSwEjB80jfMnEFm6pXbDgnp_c-3uwAZ6-ZXoJ8At0a07MNAnpuwVtge6sd_DbQfXK_bRf05scJ3gV1R7_AR5EPI/s4000/IMG_20220711_154619209.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="3000" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_6hk1UQ4C5PKF8C230gorMRCdyJ1lrYDalU-kaQJaBMZongmSKUy7cOxhOjWZ5Alub2kWGznPoH1rtv1-6x8EeJG3PSwdwSwEjB80jfMnEFm6pXbDgnp_c-3uwAZ6-ZXoJ8At0a07MNAnpuwVtge6sd_DbQfXK_bRf05scJ3gV1R7_AR5EPI/s320/IMG_20220711_154619209.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br /> Here is my progress now. I have one row plus three or more squares done, beside this. I was doing one square at a time. Then I decided it would be way quicker to do all of them in one go. I have the next strips all cut out ironed and placed with what square they will go on. I didn't feel like sewing much today but I did do the strips. <p></p>Tinahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16887318294287047220noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14093327.post-29952926002708260092022-07-04T12:37:00.001-07:002022-07-04T12:37:09.587-07:00Happy Independence Day America<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLPTzo1ULE5ungpjIHFklusyGLfNEnI9YkfMhRokvYPKLXpYrUOJFYJKPrHF4zfo97Oh05vcvjq33O5XmGEOf5zwEPDVN-eADDun_GnrLqgrG3zRiBbNQq4RDuXRsMajwJfgxB0GJ7heA4eWAoMdbxsVyjquM5TNOn4QXILfQ57VcnQGnPd5s/s4000/IMG_20220704_142820886_HDR.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="3000" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLPTzo1ULE5ungpjIHFklusyGLfNEnI9YkfMhRokvYPKLXpYrUOJFYJKPrHF4zfo97Oh05vcvjq33O5XmGEOf5zwEPDVN-eADDun_GnrLqgrG3zRiBbNQq4RDuXRsMajwJfgxB0GJ7heA4eWAoMdbxsVyjquM5TNOn4QXILfQ57VcnQGnPd5s/s320/IMG_20220704_142820886_HDR.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>Otherwise known as 4th of July. 🎇🎆⭐ I crocheted a couple 4th of July things this year. This <a href="https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/patriotic-towel-toppers">Patriotic Towel Topper</a>. I HATED this pattern!!! It's vague and complicated and doesn't even tell you what color yarn to use in some parts. I messaged the pattern designer but she still has not replied. 😠 So, I just did what I thought I was supposed to do. I didn't realize until I was going to take the picture, I sewed the wrong side of the towel to the front and the gnomes on the towel are upside down. Sigh... But, I still think the finished product is really cute.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizsd1I8UaXp-Czo6IsNVQOS3MWW5B8_sqFp6MHkIabe0LWa2NdHEQzIeEyIIWofwNS728saZDqGfpWHU3LxqOWBxvxSKjZV2DrXmF2bDHI9df_1qfYWedsUVhnhzm4XdAfZ3fAKa2QYb7842buLhkuNUj8Rgf-_tQwbqn1Q_X4G6ntwx9OPjE/s4000/IMG_20220625_151239577_HDR.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4000" data-original-width="3000" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizsd1I8UaXp-Czo6IsNVQOS3MWW5B8_sqFp6MHkIabe0LWa2NdHEQzIeEyIIWofwNS728saZDqGfpWHU3LxqOWBxvxSKjZV2DrXmF2bDHI9df_1qfYWedsUVhnhzm4XdAfZ3fAKa2QYb7842buLhkuNUj8Rgf-_tQwbqn1Q_X4G6ntwx9OPjE/s320/IMG_20220625_151239577_HDR.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>And I crocheted a 4th of July scrunchie that I already sent to someone. And not start anything new. (We'll see how long that lasts..) I had originally started this to send with that baby quilt. But, I don't think it would even fit the little guy now. So, I decided to save it. For in case I ever get a grandbaby. I thought I could start stockpiling things up. I went and bought the toggle buttons. I love those. Now maybe to finish that <a href="https://timelesscreations.blogspot.com/2013/05/pillowcases-and-baby-quilts-i-never.html">baby quilt</a>! I had been wanting to crochet something but didn't know what.. I saw a turtle someone had posted in a group I'm in, it was using all granny squares. The pattern was over $7 though. I got to thinking, "I have a square-ish shell pattern!" I've had it forever, and never made it. My Grandma had one of these on her bed. I asked her one day where she got it. She said my step-Mom had given it to her for Christmas. So I (got up the courage to) asked my step-Mom about it, and she showed me the pattern. It's from a really old pattern book "Toys to Knit & Crochet" by Coats and Clark. And the yarn colors I had never heard of some of them. "Blue Jewel".. So I googled them and came up with the closest colors there are now. <br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHkzZWpIsAEix8DWYXIKGfvrRGr9YjsvrxF68zL-Xe8FrPHFDECB0MQw9aRk_PsurpGgJ_foskClBb48MZig2mEuGiMyVajdq3VkjSySkdfHGYhSu6ka_wRk66xWJAa3PPzVENSiSrgYzGW3OY_pb3jbCn19J3QEv6-3lC1cGffJxZDKTYaAg/s2048/284097085_10159389174499442_7723023491681376576_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1536" data-original-width="2048" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHkzZWpIsAEix8DWYXIKGfvrRGr9YjsvrxF68zL-Xe8FrPHFDECB0MQw9aRk_PsurpGgJ_foskClBb48MZig2mEuGiMyVajdq3VkjSySkdfHGYhSu6ka_wRk66xWJAa3PPzVENSiSrgYzGW3OY_pb3jbCn19J3QEv6-3lC1cGffJxZDKTYaAg/s320/284097085_10159389174499442_7723023491681376576_n.jpg" width="320" /></a></div> This was pre- Amigurumi days.
