Summer Vacation

We went on a little summer vacation to Colorado (yes, right where the fires were.. ). Where we used to live.  My husband had a week off, so we decided to go.  Here are the boys at the Arcade in Manitou. Our old favorite hang out.

This is called the "Kissing Camels". Although one of the humps or heads fell off a few years ago (when we lived there, I think).

When we got back to the truck at Helen Hunt Falls, this fox was up the hill by our truck. It came almost all the way down to me. I was ready to jump in the truck, lol...  It probably is used to tourists giving it food. :/ 

And (besides lots of other wildlife), we saw a Yellow-Bellied Marmot on Pikes Peak. Look in the middle of the picture, to the left a little. He's (or she is) sitting on top of a rock. We saw a bunch of them up there.   We also saw deer, a baby bunny, squirrels (a black one, even), prarie dogs..   I miss Colorado. But I'm glad we were able to go there for vacation.

I have a lot of catching up to do on my blog. I am Puppy Sitting two puppies (I must be insane) this weekend (the puppies are asleep right now- free time, yay..) So stay tuned for pictures of the puppies. :)
