Hamster Love...

I crocheted some hamster tubes yesterday. I don't know why. I haven't felt much like crocheting or doing anything, lately. I don't know where these came from. I had been wanting to crochet a hamster hideout/hut for Oak (the Russian Dwarf Hamster) since we got her. But, she loves sleeping inside her toilet paper roll tubes. ?? (We put them in there for to chew on-which she also does..) I remember Relic Raider crocheting a tunnel for her guinea pig, on Crochetville. So I thought, "I should just crochet her a tube". I chained long enough to fit just around the toilet paper roll tube. Then just crocheted back and forth. I put it up on my pattern blog. It's so easy. You don't really even need a pattern. But...

Oak loves her tube, by the way. She won't come out of it, sometimes.

I made another one, for Mia. She doesn't seem to like it as much. I washed her hamster hut for her. She does seem to like that.

I want to breed her and the male, Rhino. I talked to the owner of the place where we got her (and him). But I've been reading about "Hamster baby horror stories" (from inbreeding). :( I don't know if they would be related, or not.. I don't know if we will breed them, or not; either. The owner of the store said he would take any babies they had. (I wanted to find out before hand...) If they do have babies, I would want to keep one. We'll see...

I've been working on yoyos. I have had these going for a long time. I just decided to try and join them one day. (For a purse, like Joanieponytails). I got both sides done. I just need to crochet around them and join.. Do the straps. Make the liner.. I haven't even finished my Bloomin' Bag. I got both straps done on it, though. Need to sew them on, and make the flower. Then the liner..

I also have a freezer bag of yoyos I had been saving up to send to Jana for Crafting for a Cause. I started putting some together for an afghan. (Sorry, Jana!) It's kind of fun. I am going to need a lot more, for a whole afghan, though..

Well that's about all. I feel like going back to bed. Or making more coffee. Or vice-versa. I can't go back to bed anyway... I woke up way too early this morning from cramps. :/ Can't stop yawning. At least it's cooler today. Yesterday was 102. :0

This is a project I just recently started. A knitted Steering Wheel Cover for our oldest son's first car. I shoulda posted a picture of his car. Oh well. Maybe next time. It's nothing fancy. A 1990 Buick Century in dire need of a new paint job. But. It's a first car. :P He said the steering wheel is gross. I got to thinking, "I bet there HAS to be a pattern for a steering wheel cover on Ravelry"... :P Yup, there is. The one I liked best is the Simple Steering Wheel Cover. He wanted it "Black and grey". ?? I had some black/grey/white variegated in my stash (I need to buy one more ball now). So that's where it is now.. If it turns out he doesn't like it, he can always buy one. But he said he would like one.

And, more knitting.. :) I don't believe it myself, but I actually finished a garterlac dishcloth. I tried doing garterlac, like 5 years ago. I could NOT understand it. So I gave up even thinking about trying another one. Until recently. It was the pattern of the week (even though it's technically like every two weeks, now) on the Dishcloth Weekly Knitalong Group I am in on Ravelry. And, someone posted a link to pictures. That helped me so much. I think if it wasn't for those pictures, I wouldn't have got it. As it was, I had to rip it out twice because I lost track of what I was doing or supposed to be doing. I almost ripped the whole thing out, once. But I ripped it back to a point and walked away from it. LOL When I came back later, I said "Hey, I know what I was doing here" (Miraculously)... And, I finished it. I don't know if I will ever be able to do another one. But. :P The pattern is in PDF file, so I thought it would just be easiest to put in a link to his blog. (Criminy Jickets) The pattern is in the sidebar. Also, a link to the Flickr page with the helpful pictures, that someone helpfully posted! How to Garterlac Pictures. Here is my finished cloth, and I will shut up about it. ;P

Oh, and more knitting... :P Some Knit Hair Raising Headbands. From the Lion Brand Yarn website. I knitted two so far. (I am getting waaaaaay deep in getting away from the projects I already have going, I know... Sigh.) But, they are finished. (Except the steering wheel cover.)

I did not use Lion Brand Cotton Ease. I just used Sugar n' Cream. Or you could use Peaches n' Cream. Or acrylic. I love how these feel. Not like the plastic headbands that give me a headache after about an hour. The green one I will probably send to Pine Ridge. I need to get some more colors to make more. (Someday!!...) They do work up fast, though. So. :D

My Fendi Knockoff Bag is FINALLY Finished! :D

After only four and a half years (almost)... :P How pathetic is that? And the sad thing is, the purse itself, I started January 4th, 2006. And finished crocheting it the 7th. It just took me four years to put the lining in and sew on the handle. :/ Oh, actually, four years and five months to the day- How weird is that?...

It took so long, maybe it is actually back in style now? ;P I don't care if it's "in style", or not, I still will use it. I was so bored yesterday. I didn't want to work on any of the projects I had going. But I really wanted to start another purse. The Bloomin' Bag, to be specific. If you don't have a Ravelry account, you can also see it here at Crochetville. Actually, here is the link to the pattern (PDF file). (Or, the webpage.) (I really, really want to make one of these! And, I want a red one.) But then I started thinking about the red Fendi Bag I have already done, and how I REALLY, REALLY, need to finish some of my gazillion and a half projects I have going. So... The oldest project I had going is finally DONE! Yay, me... :P

Here is a picture of the lining. I got the fabric at Walmart for like a dollar a yard. I had to hand sew it all. Now I have two crocheted purses/bags I really like and will use. (The Chakra Purse, and this one) :)

I am actually afraid to post this on Crochetville. After hosting the CAL for this bag, and getting SOOOO many PM's for the pattern I had just about had it.. The pattern isn't even available for free anymore. A couple years ago or so I found out the designer of this bag had it on her Etsy store, but that was two computers ago; and... I don't think her Etsy store is up anymore. Update: I just went back to that CAL, and saw a post that someone else has a version of this bag!! Awesome!!

Now, what's my next oldest project?.. Hmmm... :P

Tomato Plants & a Baby Bunny

Here is the picture of the tomato that we have growing on (one of) our plant(s). We planted them in those big Home Depot buckets. Still, something must be getting into them. Two of the tomato plants are completely missing, and the one is broke in half. So now we only have this bucket shown, and two plants in two of the other buckets. :/ We think it was rabbits.. There was a bag of mulch by one of the buckets. They probably crawled up that way, and got into the buckets. I feel like I'm spelling tomato wrong. Is there only an e on it if you say 'tomatoes'?... Anyway~~

Speaking of rabbits, guess what our 13 year old caught the other day?... A baby bunny. It went behind this board (it's shady over there, all the critters go behind there, the ground squirrels, lizards...) In fact, there was a lizard there when we were trying to get the rabbit. It was easy to catch, we just blocked off both ends so he could pick it up.

Poor thing was scared to death. He said "It's heart is pounding". I told our son, "He (or she?) will scratch you, he has claws." (And look at those feet!! He's got his hand on half of the legs!) He kicked pretty hard, too. Our son has held bunnies before, though; so he knew what to do.. It was just the mother in me, had to say that.. :P

One of his legs had blood on it (you can kind of see it in the next picture) :( Poor thing. He ran off pretty fast when my husband put him down, though. So maybe he wasn't injured too bad.

Our 13 year old went through a phase (before the hamsters) where he wanted a baby bunny SOOOO bad. The place we got the hamsters at has bunnies, and they breed them. The babies are SOOOO cute! (That's where they held the babies at..) Their Dad said "NO BUNNIES" :( So, I was pretty surprised when he caught this bunny, he didn't say, "Can I keep it?" (..I think the 7 year old said it.) Anyway~~

I don't have pictures, but I have made some progress on my Forest Flower Pullover. I finished the sleeves, sewed the side seams of the sweater up. And yesterday I tried making the first motif. (Sigh....) I don't know what I did wrong, or if it is the pattern. (I don't think this pattern is written very well at all.) First off, they say to use worsted weight yarn to get gauge-- you have to crochet with a super small hook, and it felt like cardboard to get the right gauge. So I tried using a smaller weight yarn and that worked. But I still had to rip out two rows of work to make it fit me right. (And I usually wear a medium, but for this I guess I am making the small--and I still am hoping it won't be too big..). Plus, I only did 60 of the scs to begin the body of the sweater. Otherwise, it would have been a mini skirt! Then when I did the sleeves, I had to make the smallest sleeve, too. Otherwise it would have been to my elbows. ?? I don't get the whole pattern... But, I will keep trying. I really like the sweater. I think I got an email with a video on something on this sweater. Now I will have to go through all of them and try to find it. (Sigh...)

It feels sooo nice to sleep in now that school is out! I don't think I was getting enough sleep the whole time they were in school. Now I feel like I can relax, finally. Our 7 year old got sick the day after school was out. :( (AGAIN!!) Poor kid has been sick ever since I put him in school! I hope it was just that he hadn't ever been to school, and you know how germs go around schools... (Grrr!!!) I can't believe our 13 year old will be starting his last year of middle school next year. I feel so old... :(

Summer is Here..

Not that I am happy about the heat... :( It was 102 where my husband works, yesterday. I am not quite sure what it was here but it was HOT. This morning I looked at the forecast for the next few days here and it is going to be a high of 105 one of the days. :( 102, and 104 the other days... Ugh.. Anyway, the kids last day of school was yesterday so to me, it's officially summer now. (That, and the heat has fully kicked in now..)

Well, onto my projects!! I finally have pictures.. :) This is Mimi's 8 Petal Flower Pendant. Mimi gifted me her pattern~ and I love it! Thank you so much, Mimi! :D I have actually made one more, and am halfway done with a third one (with lots more color combinations in mind, too.) I just haven't taken any pictures of them yet.. Thank you, Mimi. :D

Here is a knitted dishcloth I actually just finished this moring. (How quick am I to blog about it this time?.. :P) It's the Tweedish Cloth. It's actually the second one I made from this pattern.

I made it to go along with the Retro Ribbed Hand Towel I already had finished. (Actually that is the Retro Rib Hand Towel, spelled that wrong, sorry..) I think that it makes a cute set. Someone on the Dishcloth Weekly Knitalong Group I am in on Ravelry, said they were making a set out of those two patterns. I thought it sounded like a good idea. So it isn't MY idea... :P But they do make a nice set. Don't you think? :)

This is the first Tweedish Cloth I finished. I am now making a Retro Rib Hand Towel to go along with it. In orange and w/ a green stripe. My hands are hurting from knitting so much, though; so it might take a while.. :( I used orange and "lemon/lime" for this cloth.

I was going to post a picture of our little tomato we have on one of our tomato plants. I haven't downloaded it to my computer yet, though. It's so cute. I'm so happy it is getting tomatoes! I hope they turn out. I kept forgetting to water them for a while there. Thankfully it was a cold spell, then. It was really unseasonably cool here for a while. (I was beginning to hope it wouldn't actually get hot this year... ha!!...) They said on the news it hasn't been that cold (this time of year) since 1968. :0 That's before I was even born. :P Anyway~~ Now I have to remember to water them every day (twice a day, sometimes). We have also been having some ground squirrels up by our house lately. I got a new kind of bird seed to attract "colorful birds". (And some!) There were Quails out there, and the ground squirrels. Apparently they love this seed, too. I saw one ON my bird feeder this morning! They keep coming under our porch. (It's shady..) Plus my husband had put a muffler from ?? I don't know where, under there. Well the squirrels were living in it!! I told my husband, and he took it out from under the porch; so no snakes start coming up by the house, too. Trying to eat the ground squirrels. Ugh... Well they are still trying to live in there. I was moving it around today when I was out watering the tomatoes, and after a minute, a ground squirrel came flying out of there. I guess I am not going to feed the birds here anymore. The kids play out there, and I don't want them getting bit by a snake or anything. It's bad enough the 13 year old is trying to catch a ground squirrel. (Sigh... Boys!! :P)

Hello Again..

I'm back. (So soon?... :P) I don't have much to blog about, project-wise. I have been working on my projects. Just haven't taken any pictures of them.. (How many pictures can I take, really?..:P) I got a new rooster tea pot, at the Dollar Store. It wasn't actually a dollar. I think it was $1.79. (It's the "Dollar *Plus*" store, not just a dollar...) Still, a good price. And it's a rooster. They had other rooster stuff, too. A thingy (?) you put your spoon on to not get the counter dirty. (? What is that called?) Salt & Pepper Shakers, a sugar bowl. I forget what else. Oh, a napkin holder. I just got the tea pot though. I've used it a couple times already. For my new favorite tea: Chai. Yummy. My favorite is Bigelow brand, and decaf. Cuz I like to drink it at night. I'm becoming obsessed with it. Probably not good to drink tea w/ sugar in it at night. But... It's better than other stuff I could be eating or drinking, I guess. I'm on a diet, by the way.. Which reminds me, Um... I have been on a diet since last Saturday. I have GAINED a pound. (I bought a scale on Saturday, finally...) My husband, who isn't counting calories or measuring food, cuts out beer and junk food at night and loses SIX pounds???!!!!!!! UGH!!!!!!!! What is up with that? I've been walking, drinking tons of water, being hungry... :( I want to give up. (But I'm not going to.) That just made me so mad.

Anyway... (Still mad, thinking about it... LOL) I tried to make some liquid soap. ? Don't ask me why I made liquid soap.. lol I am not really a "soap making" person.. (Even though technically you aren't making the soap with this..) I get the Frugal Living Guide emails. One of the latest emails had a section on making your own liquid soap.

I started thinking how my 7 year old likes to put pieces of soap in cups and make "potions" when he is in the bath tub. And also how I have all those billion little pieces of soap I can't bear to throw away just sitting in my soap dish (sigh)... I thought they would be perfect to make this with. I thought this would be a "fun" project to do with the 7 year old. (Even though he watched for like two seconds then ran off to play..) Well, I cut all the little pieces up, and started making the soap. It wasn't getting thick at all. So. I got a piece of soap out that was about half gone; and shredded it up. It got thick all right. I added more water and it seemed like just the right consistency (sp?). (It took me ALL morning, btw... Not "ten" minutes..) I put it in the (used) liquid soap dispenser. It got all thick and hard inside there (it thickens up later). Well then our 18 year old added some more water. Now it is just right. So. I just thought I would blog about it... :P For something to blog about. (See our lovely counter with no tiles on the side?...) Home project #73... (Still not done..) Ugh. Don't get me started on that. Let's just say, the landlord said he would give us money off the rent if we did some of the work around here. Well some of the tiles were missing (the previous owners had dogs who apparently chewed some of the tiles off?... Yeah.). The island was the worst. So we took off all the tiles (to use on the other counters w/ missing pieces), and are going to use wood trim all around the island.

Anyway. We (I should say, our son) got another new hamster. (No more after this!!!) It's a Russian Dwarf Hamster. (Girl) Her name is Oak. It sounds cooler in RL. :P She is SO cute!! She makes the other two hamsters look like Guinea Pigs. And the guy in the pet store (? it's more of a Feed Store w/ supplies and all kinds of pets...) said she is full grown. Mia has gotten a lot bigger since we got her. I think she was still a baby when we got her. She is getting more friendly and cute, too.

We took her to my 7 year olds class to show them. (In the cage, of course..) All the kids loved her. I didn't know I was going to be a guest speaker for the class... :P They all sat on the floor and asked me questions. I didn't know I was an expert on hamsters, either. ;) Some of the questions I said "I don't know" then gave my opinion on why I thought it was... :P Then Eli got her out and brought her around to each child to pet (with ONE finger, the teacher said :P)... It was kinda fun doing that. (Eli was sick that day, btw... Sore throat/cold... I know, we shouldn't have gone to a classroom full of 1st graders when he was sick..) Well now the 7 year old has it. :( They have been sick ever since they started school! Sigh...

Tomorrow I get to go to the DMV (AGAIN!!)... Our 18 year old is supposed to get his drivers license. (AGAIN)... He better pass the test is all I have to say..

One last thing, I notice in some of my posts that I have 7 comments. When I click on the comments, I only see 3 or 4... I don't know what is up with that.. I hope I don't have a virus on my blog or something. (I am a computer dummy..)

Bad Blogger

I know, it's been a long time. Almost a month. I have been SO busy... I don't even know where to begin. I put my two younger kids back in school about four weeks ago (?).. Don't ask me *why* I put them back in school almost a month before school gets out. But, I had had it. The 13 year old is doing pretty good with it. He wanted to go back to school. (And he needed it. He needs a structured schedule..) The 7 year old did great the first week. He even got a sore throat and still wanted to go to school. (It was "Crazy Hat Day"). The second week (and ever since!!) is not going so well. Separation Anxiety. (Sigh) Every morning, "Can I stay? (home)" "My throat hurts" (Well, his throat did hurt that first week, and strep throat was going around... So I worried..) Then, this morning, "My head and stomach hurt". (Oh, new symptoms?...) I said, "Well if your stomach and head still hurt in a couple hours, tell your teacher, and I will come get you".. (The first couple weeks, that worked.) Well the school health aide called me a little after noon "Eon has a fever of 101". :( I felt so horrible!! I went and got him. Anyway~~ It has been a hectic last few weeks. Besides putting the two younger ones in school, our oldest got a full-time job. :0 He had to start at 7. Our 13 year old starts school at 7. So. I had to drop them both off at the same time and drive 60 miles in between. Yeah. Well, I had to get up at 4:30 in the morning, in order to get out the door by 10 to 6. Drop the 18 year old off at work by 6:30, turn around, drop the 13 year old off at school. Then wait an hour in between. Drop the 7 year old off. It sounds WAY too easy here. He isn't working there anymore (looooong story). So now I only have to get up at 5:30. (yaaaay...) I actually should be in bed right now. 7 am feels like sleeping til 10 now, on the weekend. LOL Anyway. That's where I have *been* the last month. The picture is of some raisin scones I made recently. And lemon curd. Been able to bake a little more, with the kids in school. When I am not running around doing errands or helping in the class, or cleaning... I feel busier now than I did before.. I guess I need to update my blogger profile eh since I'm not homeschooling them, eh?.. Anyway. All these pictures are not in the right order. I don't even know what order they would go in. So.. :P

I wanted to make a cupcake tea cozy, or *something*. I ended up (looong story short) making up a cupcake hot pad. :D This one I made in acrylic. I actually have only made the one. Here is a picture of it hopefully you can see a little better. It's on my pattern blog. :)

Here is a picture (I hope I didn't already post about this, I'm almost positive I didn't, but...) of the "Mauve" skirt I started. I haven't worked on it in a long time.

I got some fabric to do the lining. (I have NO idea how I am going to do it. I got a pattern, but... My sewing machine is broken. So don't ask me how I am going to sew it together?...)

And last but not least, the project I have most recently been working on. It's about half way done, I would say. My shalom cardigan vest. :D I got past the armholes. Now it's just straight knitting. I'm so excited about it. I tried it on and already love it. I hope it turns out as good as I think it will. (And I hope I have enough yarn and don't have to buy yet another dye lot to finish it...) :/ I am making a trip nearby a Michaels next week (oldest sons' driving test...) and I will be sure to stop at Michaels..

Well that's the very short version of the last month... (Minus the stress and irritating trip to the DMV--twice!! And still not getting my sons drivers license... Which explains the trip next week...) Hopefully it won't be so long in between this post and my next. :)

Some of my Projects' Progress...

Yesterday I re-started the Forest Flower Pullover. I had originally started it in Red Heart Super Saver (the pattern called for worsted weight yarn). But it felt awful. Like a thick, stiff, acrylic towel. I thought by using a drapier (?) yarn like simply soft, or wool-ease, or something else, it would work better. (Plus, I could barely get gauge with worsted weight!).. I had two balls of Lion Brand "Pound of Love" that I bought to make *some* wearable with. I finally decided to try that, and make it in the colors the magazine shows it in. This is my progress so far. I actually finished one more repeat (you can see I started it in the picture), and am on another one. But.

This is my progress so far on a baby set I am working on for the April Challenge for Crafting for a Cause. Which is baby stuff. Got the sweater and booties done. I will probably make a hat, too. And the afghan:

Booties, sweater (or sacque), hat, and afghan patterns.. It took me a long time to find the afghan pattern. It's not going so well as I thought... It's more of a diamond shape than square. Sigh. By the time you wrap the baby up in it, though.. :) I always laid the blanket out in a diamond, then wrapped the bottom corner up, one side, then the other side. I have some green buttons to sew on the sweater. The pattern has a tie closure, but I wanted buttons. Kinda wishing I had just done the tie, now that I have to sew them on... LOL

I have been working on other stuff lately too. Dishcloths. I did finish two pairs of socks just like these. (One adult pair, and one child). I haven't taken any pictures of them yet, though. Actually started and almost finished a Bistro! sock, but it was coming out SO huge, I could not get gauge on that thing. I guess you need to use sewing thread and a size 13 hook. Sigh...

More Hamster Stuff.. :P

I forgot about this little video clip I made of Rhino. (I got a new phone btw!! Which is how I made the video~~ WITH sound!! :P I was eligible for a free upgrade to a new phone.. :D ) I also forgot I was talking out loud, so.. ignore my dorky voice, LOL... (You can talk baby talk to a hamster, right?...) :P Okay, maybe it's my computer (and me not knowing how to do this stuff...) The sound does not seem to be working. :( At least you can see the little guy...

I found some hamster stuff to crochet, too~~ Of course!! :P I already started one, I am going to make two of these: Hamster Hideout. From watching the hamsters, and from what I read online, they like to hide in small places. The boys make tunnels with a big blanket on the floor, and the hamters like crawling through there. They also put a little plastic barn (I got it at Target for $1, with a bunch of little farm animals) in there, and the hamsters like to crawl inside it. It's just their size. I'm glad Maia can hide from Rhino in there, until we get her a new aquarium of her own (hopefully today, maybe at the thrift store)...

I have lots more stuff to catch up on with projects and project progress... Just need to be a better blogger... (Sigh..) :P

Hamsters!

We got a couple hamsters within the last two weeks... Our 13 year old wanted one. So he saved his allowance and any extra money he made, and bought the aquarium, water bottle, and bedding, food... Finally he was able to afford a hamster. Meet Rhino. :D He's a long haired teddy bear hamster. He is so cute!! I never thought I would say that about a rodent.. lol

This was when we first got him. He has really warmed up to us and has such a personality. I love him. (Another thing I never thought I'd say about a rodent!...)

Well; then our youngest son wanted his own hamster... (Sigh...) We told him he would have to save his money up and buy it himself, too. Today he finally had enough money. He bought a grey, short haired girl hamster. Here they are, meeting each other.

When we first put her in the aquarium, she started shoveling food in her mouth and her cheeks were sticking out for at least two hours! (I later read somewhere that hamster means 'hoard' in some language..) Which made sense to me, after seeing her do that. :P I don't think she is as cute as Rhino. She has red eyes. I don't know. She looks more like a mouse to me. Her name is Maia.

Someone said to separate them or they will fight to the death. The woman in the pet place said they should be fine together you just have to watch them and see how they do. I don't know. She was in with three other hamsters, and they weren't fighting. But... I think I will separate them, just cuz Maia is a girl and Rhino is a boy... If they haven't already mated, they will... I probably should have kept them separated from the start. Sigh... Well. Hopefully the pet place will take them, or we can find homes for the babies if there are any...

The pet place also had free kittens with a bag of food purchase... I didn't bring any kittens home though... :P

I Got Tagged!

:0 !!!! I cannot believe all the goodies Marsha sent me! LOOK at all the scrap yarns! I am on cloud nine! I love it. I love all of it! She sent me so much stuff... TONS of stickers! She said she has been saving them since the 70's! (That's almost as long as I am old.) I LOVE them! There is even an A Team tatoo type set, which is SO funny, my husband watches the A Team a lot and I always tell him he is lame for watching it... How funny.

Fiskars scissors for card making etc... (I love these, I have several, but not this one) TEA!! And a lot of green tea, which is one I drink a lot! Thank you! A 2010 Planner. Maybe I can get more organized, eh? ;P PENS!! Look at the cool 'Paper Clip' pen! I love it! And three pens from 'places', cool! And a lottery pen. :D A page of faces she draws in her letters (we are pen pals, too.) And a dishcloth (I think)~ awesome!

I think this has to be the awesomest of all (although, I don't know~~ I love ALL OF IT!!) I have never seen this kind of thing before, Friendship Books. One person writes their name and address, what they are into, etc... Then sends it to someone (somehow?), they can put their name address in it... and send it to someone else... I think it is a cool idea but I am kinda scared to do it now. I don't know why...

There was also an envelope with stickers in it, "Take 5 you like, put 10 back in". This whole package was SO FUN!! I spent over an hour just looking at everything. :P Thank you so much, Marsha!!! Now it's my turn to "Tag" someone... :D

LOL. I did a second Bag Lady. She is all packed up in a box to go to a new home. :D I hope she will be liked there... (I am 99.9% positive she will be :P) I think I am burned out on bag ladies for a while, though..

I hunted down and bought CroJulee's round ripple dishcloth! Then proceeded to crochet two of them. The one on the left is for my sister. (To go with the other three dishcloths I have already either knitted or crocheted her... :P) The one on the right is mine and already needs to be washed. I like it. And I love the pattern.

And, a UFO that needed to be finished (was on my "list"--bonus, eh?..) Turtlelvrs Button-Up Bookmark Book Cover (?) My book "Three Cups of Tea" is inside...

I didn't have enough yarn to do the bookmark in the pattern, so I did a chain 45 or 48 then 6 sc in 2nd chain from hook, and sl st all the way back...

And I got another RAOK!! Well, technically, not really... But still. :D Suzee sent me a 'part two' of the Tag & Silly Swap. She didn't have to, but I LOVE everything!!! Isn't Maxine COOL!!? Her little bag says "Don't Worry Be Crabby" Ha ha ha! I love it. A little container that is Mary Engelbreit, says "Life Has No Blessing Like a Good Friend". And inside it is a little clip (money clip?) that says "Don't drive faster than your guardian angel can fly". And, and awesome knitting needle holder! All mine are in an unorganized (MESS of a) bag. Well, I am sick (AGAIN). Yesterday early afternoon I just started feeling really bad. I just laid down and took a nap. :0 Then, didn't want to, but I got up for a while and crocheted. Then ate dinner (hubby made dinner, isn't he awesome?) and went back to bed. I still feel bad today, but not as bad. I think it's a cold or something. Sore throat, sinuses... headache. Tired. Sneezing. I probably got it from my husband. He had a sinus infection (but probably got the sinus infection from this whatever it is...) I need to start cleaning off the computer mouse more. I probably keep getting germs from it, and that's how I keep getting sick. Wipe down the cart at the store, use Purell... I am good about washing my hands, but probably not enough...
