Strawberry Summer

I can't stop thinking about strawberries. I think I need therapy. Retail therapy. 😁 LoL. I uploaded a picture of the display at Hobby Lobby that I was talking about a couple posts back. I keep thinking about that strawberry cookie jar. When I was a kid (12), my step-uncles' wife did her kitchen in strawberries. I went strawberry picking with her once, her mom and dad had a big field of strawberries. Realistically, the only things I would probably buy from this display are the hotpad, the cookie jar and the soap dispenser. I liked the towel until I saw it's that microfiber material and that stuff makes my skin crawl. I am thinking about doing my kitchen in strawberries. 😳 All my kitchen things were turqoise and grey for a few years. I don't know why... Probaby because our living room was grey and I was trying to come up with an accent color...   Well our kitchen and living room aren't all in one open area now. And, I can do what I want. I was looking at strawberry kitchen ideas this morning. Here are a few. I keep saying to my husband, "We need to paint this kitchen.."  Well maybe we could paint it red. 😀  I don't think that would go over too well with the landlord, though. I guess I could just keep looking for strawberry kitchen accessories. A lot my kitchen towels are turqoise. Dishcloths, too. Hmmm.... Well, they are old and stained and need to be replaced anyway. 😝 My kitchen used to be red, but apples and roosters. That was a while ago. I still have my apple tea cozy. I think I just did a post with it in the picture..

I found a couple places around here (searching online) that you can go pick your own strawberries. The only problem is, I don't think I could get down on the ground and pick any. Well, I probably could. But I would probably end up hurting myself in the end.. I can't do things like I used to, since my surgery.  My huband said he would pick some for me. 🍓

~Anyway~

I meant to post this yesterday/ But I was already rambling on about enough, anyway. I made a little mini pocket letter for someone. I did post about the little ??? things you put in the pockets. (The last four pictures.)

What I put in the pockets. K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid...  Tea and a "scripture" card, because she likes those things. The other pocket is for a letter.  

This weekend is our "Community Garage Sale".  I was thinking about going to a bunch. Maybe I'll find some strawberry stuff. I was thinking yesterday, about my little notepad basket fridge magnet on our fridge. I thought, "Oooo. I should crochet a red one, and put one of those strawberry buttons I got at HL on it". 😀  I am so glad I printed that pattern out. It's not available online any more.
