Some More Toys I've Finished Recently...

I haven't posted about these since the person I sent them to hadn't recieved them yet. I didn't know if she would visit my blog or at Crochetville, so to be on the safe side and not spoil the surprise I didn't post them.... I made a Mumma Dog and two puppies. :p I crocheted the eyes on since a two year old was getting these. (You know, choking hazard...) And I made a puppy purse for her. She loves puppies, so I stuck with what I know she likes and gave her all puppy stuff. This is the first time I made one of these purses. They work up really quick. It's an Annies Attic Scrap Crochet Club pattern. There's also a (green) bear and a purple monkey.
And this is a monkey that I saw on Crochetville. You can see two here, and two more here. Alisha from ChisCrochetCrazy posted hers on there and I knew right away I was going to make one. It turned out so cute! The little girl I sent it to likes it, too. So that's what counts. I want to make another one for myself. Hee hee. My WIM pile for myself keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Lime-Glazed Cookies

Yummy! I made these this afternoon. Last week I made a key lime pie (sorry, I forgot to take a picture) and I had some lime juice left over. So started looking for 'lime' recipes, and I found this recipe in the Martha Stewart 'Everyday Food' magazine. (July/Aug 2004 issue.) But, folks, don't go ordering a back copy just for this recipe, because you can find it here: Lime-Glazed Cookies :) They are really easy to make. Teddy Bear Teddy Bear..

Touch the ground. Teddy Bear, teddy bear turn around... Okay I have WAY too many childrens' books in my head... This is a little bear I made for Mimi! I wanted to post about her but had to hold myself back until I heard from Mimi that she got the box I sent her in. I used Crochet_Queens' bear pattern (before she started selling her pattern on Etsy--looks like she needs to reload her patterns there, too...) But, it was really more of a guideline, not a row-by-row pattern. So, I ended up buying the pattern anyway. :p Anyway.... I used Red Heart 'Monet' for Mimi's bear, and an H hook. The dress I crocheted in thread and used a pattern for Crocheted Teddy Bear Clothes or something. A pattern one of my aunts gave me a long time ago. That was the first time I ever used it, actually. Isn't she cute? I actually made two of these. One for Mimi, and one for Lene. The one I made for Lene was exactly the same, but I used Red Heart 'Summer Breeze' (also a variegated). I think I'd like to make one for myself one day, too. When my WIP pile is gone. Hey, did you know you could get any of Starbucks coffees made with soy milk!? I did not. Well last night I went in there (someone gave us a Starbucks card for our anniversary!! Woo Hoo!) and asked the girl. She said 'Yea' (like, 'duh'?) I am doing a happy dance! I took my tall mocha made with soy milk and drove to Garden of the Gods, and sat there and crocheted! Aaaaah.... Peace and quiet, a starbucks coffee (that didn't make my stomach hurt), and crocheting! What could be better? I didn't stay long, because my hubby had to go help his mom at 7, but it was still long enough. I finished two rows on a doily I am making my brother and his wife, for a wedding present. (They are the couple who has everything, so I am making them something they might not have...) Well have a nice week everyone and thanks for stopping by! :)

I Don't Think I Ever Posted About This..

I *may* have posted about the one on top. I don't feel like going to look, though... ;) I messed up on this one. I don't know if you can tell how I messed up. But I can.
I am actually quite pleased with how this one turned out, though. It's just all white WalMart bags. I don't think I will be crocheting with plastic bags for a while anymore, but just thought I'd share what I had finished.

Blossom Has Arrived, All The Way From Australia!!

Here she is, safe and sound. This picture is not the greatest, I have other better pictures, but photobucket is down today. (Grrr) And, I wanted to post everything Cupcake sent me!! First and foremost, Little Blossom. I *won* her in a Koala Kapers contest. The 'objective' was to find little Kimberly and one other Koala on Crochetville somewhere. The winner got a Koala crocheted by Cupcake herself! Well, I looked high and low but I could not find any... But, Cupcake said she would have pity on me and send me a Koala since I tried so hard. (Okay, she didn't say 'have pity', but..) I am so happy she sent me one. I just love this little Koala! Cupcake also sent a Eucalyptus leaf with 'G'day from Australia' written on it. (So little Blossom wouldn't feel so lonely when she got here.) And, an Australia postcard with a real Koala on it!! (It was funny, because my oldest son, when I got the package in the mail, said, 'Is that your Koala?' and I said, 'Yes.' :) When I saw the Koala on the postcard, I said, 'Now this is what a 'real' Koala looks like'.) Not 'funny', LOL funny, but humorous.. Okay maybe not even funny at all. Anyway. She also sent an Australia magnet for the fridge! (Which I forgot to put in the picture.) It's cool. Our fourteen year old said, 'I want one.' :( I told him we could all use this... OH! And just about the coolest thing, she sent some eucalyptus candies!! I've never had candy from Australia. Come to think of it, the only things I have ever gotten from Australia is a postcard, and my Uncle bought me an opal necklace when he went to Australia one year. I'll have to take a picture of it someday when photobucket is deciding to work... Anyway, thank you Cupcake for everything!! I love little Blossom and will take good care of her!

Yay! I Got a Package from Mimi Yesterday!!

Look at all the goodies she sent me! I love them! She sent me some stamps from her collection when she found out I collect stamps with my son. (After seeing the stamps, though, I don't know if I want him to have them.) I might give him a couple and keep the rest. I want to get a nice 'stamp collecting' book to put them in. There are some from Singapore, Filipinas, and a couple I don't know. But they are all really colorful and pretty! Thank you Mimi. :) Mimi also sent me a crocheted necklace she made :0 ~ I love it!! AND, a matching beaded bracelet, too. I have a lavendar sweater I could wear these with. (It's hand wash, though, and I need to wash it...) :p And inside the card, (I felt that it was thick) is a 'T' Mimi crocheted, from her crocheted letter collection! I have been secretly wanting one of these since I saw her post about them! Now I have my very own 'T'- I love it, Mimi, thank you so much! And, she sent a UFO (the black and white and yellow striped bag.) Inside the letter it says, 'can you guess what it is and what pattern I used?' I could not for the life of me. I asked the kids. (Whenever I can't figure something out, they usually can!) And the nine year old said, 'It looks like a bee'. I said, 'Yea, it does kinda.' Some kind of bee purse or pouch... Well it is a bee cellphone purse. I think it's cute, and I might just look the pattern up at CPC and see what else there is to finish it... :) And, last but definitely not least! Mimi sent me my very own copy of her 'Loopy Flowers' pattern!! YAY! I had one via email, but to have my own copy is much cooler! Thank you so much for everything, Mimi. I love it all. I have been getting spoiled this week with the packages. Monday Blossom came, Wednesday I got the toy swap box, Thursday I got Mimi's package, and today I am supposed to get something Priority Mail from my brother! He didn't say what it was, so it will be a surprise. I am truly spoiled this week. I guess 'When it Rains, it Pours' is a true saying... (This time in a good way!) :)

The Toy Swap Toys Are Here!

This one came out too dark, but he had a huge smile on his face here. Karla made him a snake!!
Here he is ready to go play with all his new toys! He took them outside then put them on the lawn chair so they wouldn't get dirty. :p
And, here is the teenager with his (what he has decided is a) CD holder.
With a couple of his CDs in it already. About ten minutes after I gave it to him and told him who it's from, he came outside and (with it in his hands), said, 'This is cool. I like this.' Karla, coming from a teenager, I think that is a good sign you did a good job deciding what to make him! :)
And, last but certainly not least, Karla also sent me some goodies, too!! Thank you so much, Karla. I have never tried the 'Primo' yarn, but it is wool! I love it! And I of course, always love the Sugar n' Cream to make dishcloths with. And some really pretty ribbon bookmarks with pendants on both ends. Thank you so much for everything, Karla!! The kids all really love what you sent, and so do I.

A New Baby Toy Pattern on CPR!

By Mimi. :) Isn't this adorable? It is called 'Baby 101'. I have been looking for baby things lately (since I know three people in our family who are pregnant right now!)... And I thought to myself... 'There aren't very many crocheted baby toys out there...' There's a lot of stuffed animal patterns, balls, blocks... but not many actual toys. So I thought this was really good. You can find the pattern here. These are actually already in a box to be mailed to Michigan, for a baby shower later this month.

Some Treasures I Found... ;)

Well they are treasures to me, anyway. :) I'd forgotten I did so many of these, so far. This is what is called 'Redwork', for those who are wondering 'What is it?'. Of course, redword doesn't necessarily have to be 'red'. It can be blue, or green, or black... any color, really. As long as it shows up. But traditionally, redwork was red. Because the Turkey Red floss was the only color that didn't bleed. I don't know exactly what it is about redwork that is so appealing to me, but I just love it! Maybe it is taking a piece of fabric and tracing a simple picture and making something so beautiful out of it. (For so little money, too!) You don't need a fancy expensive book to do this. You can trace your childs' artwork, you can trace a simple design out of a magazine, or postcard.. whatever. So these are some squares I have done (and found in my big Rubbermaid Tote brought back from the storage shed in Michigan...) 'Mother and Child', above, done in sage green. I love this one. It came from either a Quiltworks or Miniature Quilt magazine. (The only quilt magazines I have, so it had to be one of the two.)
This sea turtle I traced from a coloring book page of my kids. (With some of it colored.) It turned out pretty well, I think! I was thinking about my Grandma when I made this one. She loves and collects turtles.
"Calla Lily', from 'Learn to do Redwork' book by American School of Needlework. In fact I think the rest of these are also from this book. (It has 77 re-creations of antique blocks, plus instructions to make four quilts, I think.)

And, aHoot Owl on a tree branch. I KNOW I had a cherry one I was working on, too. I can't find it, or my hoop to do the embroidery with, either. (Wherever they both are, it is probably together... the cherries are probably in the hoop somewhere.) Oh well. I have outlined another square already, that is a tea pot, I was all ready to work on it, and that was when I realized I didn't know where my hoop is... But, I found the tea pot design online. I'll see if I can find it to put the link if anyone is interested. Meanwhile I will post this since it might be a while before I can remember where I saw it... Well I am still looking,but here is a few free patterns I found at Quilt and Sew, by Googling... Some from Pattern Bee, it says they have a new free redwork pattern every month. (Supposed to be vintage, too.) Still looking for those teapots though... I found it! YAY!! It's from a Ladies in Red site, they have about four or five PAGES of redwork designs!! This time I'll put it in my toolbar so I don't lose it... :p

Floppy Dog

Here is a floppy dog I finished today. It worked up pretty fast. I took it to the park with me the other day when we fed the squirrel. I just worked on it that day and finished up the nose, tongue, and collar today. (And sewed her eyes on.) She is expecting a litter of puppies, too! ;p I got the pattern in a magazine that is out of print now, 'Crafting Traditions'. The Jan/Feb 2003 issue, if anyone has anyof those old issues. I have also been working on a plastic bag purse. But ran out of white WalMart bags... So I have to wait until I go shopping again for more 'yarn' ;p....

Pikes Peak

We drove up to the top of Pikes Peak last Saturday. This picture was taken from the top. (That's the Cog Railroad there.)
Here's the Cog train. We could have come up like this but it would have been over a hundred bucks. So we drove. (Less people, more fun anyway!)

A view from on the way up. None of these pictures can capture how awesome it is going up. I did a lot better going up this time, than I did last time. The first time we went up (a few years ago), I was hyperventilating practically. I was so scared. I thought for sure we were going to fall off the edge, and you can't even see where you are going to fall. This time I was hardly afraid at all. I looked down, and saw the 'bottom'. It wasn't as far as I thought. (I think I'm getting used to mountains now.) Ialso took a bunch of pictures of the wildflowers all over the mountain. You can see them here. No Pictures Today...

I wish I had brought my camera with me today, though! The one time I don't, something cool happens. The oldest went to a theme park with some friends today, so I took the two younger boys to a park here in town to play. Well we went across the street to see the Spring that was over there. Then the kids wanted to climb on the 'bleacher/stairs'. We were sitting there, and I got out the cheese and crackers for a snack. Well this little squirrel was kind of by us, and the nine year old says, 'Can I give it a cracker?' I said, 'Sure, just hold out your hand and be really still'. The squirrel came right up to his hand, and took the cracker. Then she sat there on her hind legs, eating it. It was SOOO cool! She kept coming back for more. Some she would go bury and then come back and get some more to eat, then go bury some... I hope we didn't make her sick feeding her crackers, but it was so awesome. I wish I had of all days brought my camera with me today. Oh well. Maybe next time we go there, I'll remember for sure. Then when the squirrel got full and stopped coming back, we went back over to the park. The kids were more interested in picking up garbage and putting it in the garbage bins. I don't know where it came from, but I certainly encouraged it!! Then we went down to the creek, and the nine year old wanted to take his shoes off and go in the creek so I let him. Then he started getting all the garbage out of the creek. He found a baby bottle with milk (or formula?) still in it. (Yuck). A flip flop. A cup. A few wrappers. A pop can. We put it all in the garbage bin. He wants to go tomorrow to a different park and clean out the creek. :))) I'm so proud.

An Oldie But a Goodie :)

Since we've been unpacking more things from the storage unit in Michigan, more and more treasures keep coming up. Like this doily I made I don't even know how long ago. I love this doily. I don't know how my fourteen year old son got a hold of it, but.... if he wants it, I guess he can have it. He's the only child who I know will take care of it. (The other two might, too, when they get older...) Anyway, it is from an 'Old-Time Crochet' magazine. The summer 1992 issue, on page 6. I only have two issues of this magazine. Anyway, I thought I'd share it here. I was so pleasantly surprised yesterday to recieve an RAOK letter in the mail!! An adorable lighthouse card, and inside was a recipe for 'Grandma's Pumpkin Bread'!! How could this person have known that pumpkin bread is my absolute favorite in the world!!?? She couldn't; but how nice of her! I can't wait until it is cool enough to bake, so I can try this recipe. I haven't been feeling good lately. Saturday I felt sick. Then Sunday I wasn't feeling that great, but... Then Monday I was feeling okay but reeeaaally crabby! Today I felt okay, but an hour before dinner I started feeling really sick and had to run to the bathroom. :( Weird. Well maybe I'll get some crocheting done since all I want to do is sit around...

A Baby Afghan I started last night...

Due to insomnia I finished these two squares last night for a baby afghan. It's going to be for my niece. My husbands' sisters' daughter and her husband are due October 1st. I *just* got a baby shower invitation (even though they know I won't make it-it's in Michigan) it's July 29th!! Yikes. I don't know if I will finish it by then w/ time to mail it. Let's see... that would be 39 days plus a week to send it.... I need 63 squares, that's approximately 1.6 squares a day, then the sewing together plus the border. So I'd have to do 2 or more a day. That *might* be workable... I don't know. Maybe if I sewed them together as I went along... Well anyway sorry I had to figure that out on your time. ;p The pattern came from 'Sweet as a Rose' Baby Afghans, by Leisure Arts.. I tried looking for it on their site, but I couldn't find it. (It may or may not still be in publication.) An old friend of mine bought it for me about eleven years ago, so I could make this afghan for her daughter. I made that one just like the one on the cover, in pink roses. This one I am doing in yellow, because the babys' room is painted yellow, and a lot of yellow Pooh things so I thought this would work well. Sheesh- I better shut up, and go do my daily quota of two squares, eh? :p

Is There Something in the Water Lately or What? :p

It seems like everyone is having babies lately. My sister-in-law is pregnant (my brother and his wife), my niece (hubby's sister's daughter), and now another sister-in-law is pregnant! I just found out this morning. Oh, and my stepsister, too. (I only met her once or twice, though, don't even know her...) Whew. I guess I know what I'll be busy crocheting or knitting this summer!!

A Plastic Bag-Recycled from Plastic Bags ;)

Well, after three summers, I have finished this bag. I think I started this bag before I went to Florida one summer with my mom. And, I brought this bag with me. (I'm making it for my mom.) I was going to do a blue stripe in it, but Wal Mart stopped carrying the blue plastic bags, so I didn't have anything that would 'work'. Then I joined the Plastic Bag CAL at Crochetville, and posted my dilemna. Someone sent me some blue Wal Mart bags! It was one of the things I had put on my Wish List, too. That's how bad I am. :p I still have some blue left, I can use for a stripe on another bag. I have another one started already, too. I did notice (when I was on the second to last round) that I made a mistake in the pattern. In my own defense, I picked this up after two years of not working on it. And, the bag I had started meantime, is in sc's... so the way my brain is (not working) lately... I started the blue stripe in sc's. Instead of hdc's. And so it looks funny to me. Well maybe my mom won't notice, since she doesn't crochet. She'll probably just be amazed that I finished it. :p I also have about fifty tan Kroger bags. I'd like to do something with them, too.

Progress on my L.A. Shrug

Ooo I like the way that sounds. LA Shrug... ;p Well I haven't even worked on this since we got back from Michigan (except sewing the shoulder seams together this morning). But I have made a lot of progress on it since my last blog post about it. The body is done, one sleeve is (almost) done. I wanted to sew the shoulder seams together so I could tell how much longer I needed to make the sleeve (never trust a pattern just because it says to work so many rows...)
Here's the sleeve so far. I think I need to do about two more inches at least on this. (I don't know why this picture came out darker. Same exact place, same exact lighting...) Anyway... I can't wait until it's done, so I can finish all the other things (Shrugs) I want to make. :p It's supposed to be over 90 today! I'm thirsty already....

This doily was in one of the boxes I have unpacked so far. I totally forgot about this one. I made two of these, actually. The other one I made was white, for a friend. I'd like to make another one, too. I couldn't for the life of me remember what booklet it was in or anything. (That's been happening to me a lot lately...) But I found it today. It's a Year of Doilies booklet, the September doily, 'Welcoming Oval.' I've had it on the living room coffee table but it keeps getting knocked off onto the floor so I think I'm going to move it into my bedroom, on my dresser. I washed a couple of doilies I made today too. (I didn't make the doilies today, they are older doilies...) ;p But pretty dirty. I'll write more about those when I get some pictures of them.
We went for a hike on this trail today. Obviously this is an old picture (snow on the ground), but this is one of my favorite parts of the trail. I could just stand here and look at it for hours. Today we think we hiked seven miles. I am exhausted. I thought my knees were going to give out, they hurt so bad. I must be really out of shape. (Although hiking up a mountain is not exactly easy.)
Here are some of the wildflowers on the trail. I couldn't make out any of them. The only one I could tell was the Yuccas. They have buds on them now; and they are so pretty when they bloom. (I've never seen them in person, but I saw some on a postcard.) I guess I shouldn't have even posted that picture, since you can't even see any of the flowers on it. There are supposed to Columbines on the trail. I haven't seen any yet. We saw three lizards, a big blue beetle with black spots on it, a big yellow and black butterfly (I don't know what kind of butterfly, but I don't think it was a monarch, they are more orange aren't they?), a little blue butterfly, a little white butterfly (or moths), and my husband and older son said they saw a hummingbird. If we go on that trail again, I'm packing a picnic lunch and starting in the morning. I'm whipped....

A Tea Cozy

Here is an awesome tea cozy pattern I finished last night. I was testing the pattern for Cupcake. Mine turned out a little more poofy than everyone elses' did. I don't know if it's because I crochet too tight or what. I do still like how it looks, though. I want to make more in different colors. Maybe I'll try a larger size hook, and the Australian way with trc's. ;p You can see how everyone elses' turned out in this thread. Lovely colors!

I'm Baaaack!!

Did you miss me? ;p I'll bet you didn't even know I was gone. We went back to Michigan to get the rest of our stuff out of storage. My husbands' Great Aunt died the day before we were leaving, so we were able to go to the funeral while we were there. She was 93 years old. Although it is sad, everyone is somewhat relieved as she is not suffering anymore. She was the last sibling of my husband's grandma. (They lived together.) I will be worried about his grandma now. One good thing is that she lives in an assisted living home, so she will see a lot of her friends there every day. If she was living on her own, I would worry a lot more. Well... above is a lapghan I finished. For the Charity Blitz.
And, now that my toy swap partner has recieved the toys, I can post pictures of them!! Hello Kitty is above. I actually added the ears and it looked different. But I had already boxed it up when I thought to take another picture. I am so happy with how this turned out!! This Hello Kitty was the one toy that gave me the most anxiety. I don't think I will ever make another one. But I feel like I accomplished something in finishing this one.
And here we have a checker board. It's from the Crochet-Pattern-A-Day 2006 Calendar. This one was relatively easy. Just color changing. I like how it turned out.
And, you can roll it up and put it in your backpack to take with you. Or purse...
And here is a Bunting Doll. I love this doll. I want to make one for myself. I must have either 1.Not have had many toys when I was little (actually, I don't think I did have many. I had a couple dolls though.) Or 2. I'm still a kid at heart. I'm really happy with how all the toys turned out. I still don't have the toys from my swap partner, but, that is because I told her not to send them yet. (Since we were gone.) The kids will be excited when they get them. (So will I!) I got a lot of crocheting done on the trip out there. I actually didn't finish the shrug I am working on, but I got a LOT done on it! I am done with the first sleeve. I will post pictures of that when I get some batteries for my camera. I also finished three twelve inch comfortghan squares for Karla. (They are for a comfortghan for someone she knows, not for her.) Well have a nice week everyone!

L.A. Crochet Shrug In Progress...

This is how far I am! I'm sooo excited! I love how this is working up. I actually was done with the whole right front, but it looked like it was too small. Even though I had gone so far, I didn't want to finish it and have done all that work and it be too small. There is no way I am giving this to anyone. So I frogged it this morning and redid it. THE hardest part is Row 1 of the body. I had to figure out how many stitches per section and still had 43 left.... But, I finally figured it out and am almost back to this point now. I tried it around me and it fits much better now. Perfect, in fact. I also think I may make it a little longer than the pattern suggests. I'll keep you posted. ;) I finished a lapghan. I *was* going to make it for the Charity Blitz, but.... I have issues with it. I am not the kind of person who drops out of things. I've finished all my CALs and swaps I joined, but... I can't quite put my finger on it, but.... 1. The person hosting this thing is not the *friendliest* person there is. 2. I didn't know she was going to be including her *missionary* work in it. I just don't feel right crocheting things for her to take down to Mexico or wherever she takes them, to try to convert people to her church. Something about it just doesn't sit right with me. So. I am thinking about dropping out of it. Last month was her charity, and she has another month she has something different (last month was things for kids: marble bags, hair scrunchies...) I think the next one for her charity is squares or something. So I will probably save this lapghan for Pine Ridge. I kind of like it. It's just a ripple stitch. I haven't taken a picture of it yet. Well I'm off to work some more on my shrug. Did I say?... I am going to make a matching shrug for my Mom. I remember when I was little my Mom had matching dresses for her and I. I don't know if someone she knew sewed them for us, or if she bought them... I know we didn't have much money though. (We did know someone who sewed a lot, and actually made my flowergirls' dress when I was in their wedding- My Mom and Stepdads') Anyway, I remember saying, 'I don't want to wear that!' and I wasn't going to. I told my mom about that and she said, 'You wore it'. So I must have felt guilty. I remember the look on her face, (I think I hurt her feelings.) So I probably felt bad and wore it anyway. I wish we had a picture of it now. Well anyway, I told her 'I'll make you and I matching shrugs'. She said 'You're gonna make up for that, huh?' ;p

Threads from Mimi! :)

I ordered some threads from Mimi recently, and they came in the mail yesterday! Yay! I love them. I also ordered a cell phone tote from her, that I absolutely just love!!

Even though I am just on the edging. I love the way it is working out. Maybe I should buy the more expensive yarns more often, eh?

I finally broke down and bought this booklet. I kind of wanted it for a while, but kept saying 'I'll never make any of those...' But, recently I have been wanting to try more challenging projects. And actually make something for myself to wear. Although I have to say, it won't be saving me any money. I could probably buy a shrug at the store for what I pay in yarn. Fortunately, I have some yarn that my secret pal from the Autumn Secret Pals swap sent me. I don't think it will be enough, though. I think I need three more. So, it will still be a lot less expensive though! Than if I had to buy it all. Unless I bought baby yarn. (There aren't any good colors though unless you order it from a catalog.)
This is the color. It's 'Coral'. And, I think it goes perfectly with this skirt:
I looked at every single store around to try to find yarn to make one for another skirt I have. (It's greens and pinks...) But, I couldn't find any the right color (without going broke, that is!) to go with that skirt. So I got out my other skirt and said 'Hmm, this goes pretty good together...' Now, if I can just find the same dye lot!! This may be a wild goose chase...

This weekend we did a lot of tourist-y things. We are still exploring our new home. (Even though it was my husbands' home for a while when he was young.) Here is a waterfall.
And a little stone bridge. I just love these. There were a couple of them.

Here's a doily I made a looooong time ago. I think this was the first big doily I ever made. You can see that it's dirty. I need to wash it and re-block it. But I don't think I ever did take a picture of this doily. If I did, it wasn't with my digital camera. I'm working on another big doily now. It might end up being bigger than this one. (If I ever finish it, that is...) :p
